how about game 1 in miami, the pistons played pretty good in that one holding the overrated heat to 71 points with a healthy wade and a healthy shaq who had been sitting on their duffs for a week. now i hear how the stones got lucky because wade was hurt!?!? i don't think the series would have been as close if the refs remembered that wade is not jordan and that it is not a foul if you blink your eye or wave your hand without contact at him. now, coming into tonight's game we have a similar situation as the one before it. spurs have had a week off to rest, could play against them. detroit actually plays defense. spurs saw a little of that with seattle, but nothing like they will see tonight. also, the pistons are much more physical than anyone that the spurs have faced. i cannot wait until this is series is over and everyone claims that the pistons were lucky again because duncans ankle was not 100%. lol

The number system I've been working has been working pretty good for me.

I have SA winning at best by 6 and I don't think they are going to win by that much. More like 3 to 5 IMO, that's why I'm taking the Pistons + 6 1/2 tonight.

I don't know what it's going to take for the pistons to get respect as a top-notch team. It's not their fault they have know "superstars" and play team ball. I don't see duncan being a big deal against the wallaces...you know, just his boring 20 and 12. I think the guard play is pretty even, and if tay gets off, the pistons could easily steal game 1. Also, i hate going with the public but I think the under is the most solid play here. 83-77 pistons? Under 176.5 for 5 units and pistons +6.5 for 3 units. Good luck to all.

I see San Antonio easily covering the 6.5. They are SO disciplined and so good on defense, and they play to whatever type of basketball the other team plays.

Phoenix wants to run, they'll run, Detroit wants to slow it down and make it a defensive battle, they'll do that as well.

Thoughts from the board are appreciated!!!!
I like Detroit plus the points. Not only do I think they'll keep it close. I think they have a good chance of winning game 1.

How is Vegas 'begging' us to take Detroit?
