Wayne-here is my two cents worth to prevent this kind of thing from happening in the future:
Everyone should clearly rate their plays from 1-5 unit and say what each unit represents in dollar amounts;I realize this is done pretty much now.
If on occasion someone wants to step out and bet more than the maximum units, the person should say he is listing it as a 5 unit play but playing it for a lot more;he should NOT state for how much;who cares? The message is clear that a bettor really likes a certain game for even more than his highest star rating;that is all we really need to know.By allowing people to announce the amounts of mega bets on the board, you are doing nothing more than allowing folks to 1)stoke their own egos if the game wins;2)r cause accusations like we saw tonight if the game lost or 3) even worse get some newbies to bet beyond his means because he thinks the game cannot lose.
I believe at gamblerstalk people are not allowed to post more than a 5 unit rating;perhaps this strict unit system should be tried to at BC.

Totally agree Savage. As normal your on the money. I don't think RJ will be on for a while. Or at least betting. He said that was his bankroll.

I think in the future if any bettor at BC who normally bets within a certain range($100-$500-$200 to $1000 or say $1000 to $5000, etc.) likes a game a lot, he should simply say this is an openender and/or that he is betting more than his 5 unit;I see no point why anyone has to tell us exactly how much the bet is for;after all, this, forum is supposed to be about helping others to win period!

If I recall, you tell people it is a GOY play, don't list the amount of the play and warn people that the game could lose;everyone should take a lesson from that.

Of all the people here RJ has been the most critical of my plays as anyone.Even calling it Babysitting in here sometimes referring to my betting it all on one game plays. But i have to say i learned from you Rj and was lucky to win my play. You are a good capper but just try and give everyone else here more of a break you know.Like i told you when you were bashing me this site has alot of Fence Jumpers.Once 1 person jumps on someone then everyone here jumps in. Should not be like that. We are all here to Make the best possible bets possible with the knowledge we get from everyone else. savage is right. i was going to sugest this before but didnt think people would like the idea. ** has a thread that only posts members plays and records (no gl's),plays are 1-5units,must post where line is from(no locals), no edits(rj rule?). easy to find plays and NO bs. saying someone won 20,000$ last year in bases sounds great, but if they bet10-15,000$ per day its very missleading to new members. hopefully things will change for the better.

Ok well heres my insight...Whether or not RJ really did make then bets, I think we just need to close this thread and ignore it. The only person a liar hurts is himself...not saying he is lying but if he is he knows it and it will just hurt him in the long run. I have extended my own grievances with the forum as I told you all when I was broke, and of course reaped the reprecautions of being young at the forum. So I for one sort of know what RJ is being put into with this ranting and raving. I know many of you dont respect me at all but if he wants to go on about big bets he takes (or he may) and you dont like it just ignore it..I realize many points im leaving out are reasons for your raging posts and I for one respect everyones opinion.
PS: I think 40k is a ton of money to throw around on a slumping team in two days...not even Mr. Trump spends 40k in two days..IMO
