    question...

i know handful of local books. they've taken their shop online and offer casino as well as sportsbook... during baskets and football they dont have any limits on wager.. they take it all... but when it comes to baseball they limit all the players to 3000 per game... these are pretty huge books.. one of them has well over 300 people playing..

do most local books even take a wager that high... 10,000 per game.. ??

You know guys you are making it sound like it is BC members against RJ ... RJ is a very valuable member here but you are only looking at it one way .. did you read all the posts today in this thread and the one that says he bet the NYY ... I have really been holding back from saying anything but it sounds like a few people think that I/we have been unkind to RJ ... It is simply not true ... Not if you read all the posts ...

and RJ believe me I am not very happy posting this shit but I feel like I must say some things here ...

        1) He verifies that $27,000 was at risk to win $10,000. Post # 24

        2) He later says he had a partner in the bet. ( After it lost ) Post # 48 ( And has the gall to say it was a separate account, "no big deal to us" ~ $13,500 is no big deal? )

        3) He now says the $10,000 was split between him and his partner. Post # 61 ( What happened to the $27,000 to win $10,000? )

        4) He says that he only lost $5000 on the game. Post # 63

If 27,000 was risked on the game, he would have lost $13,500. Does he think we are stupid?

Post # 71 says it all. He posted late so people wouldn't follow the play. WHY POST IT THEN???

Again RJ, these are my takes and my takes only on the whole situation .. I am not looking for answers cause you do not owe me anything .. But I do not want anyone to think I/we would allow a member to be criticized without it being justified ...

Well on the YES network they just said the yankees will have to do something they haven't done ALL year. come back after being down after 8 innings. they said they were 0-23 in that situation.

                That's what they said?

I think that says something about this year's yankee team.
All those high priced SUPERSTAR hitters and they can't muster a rally once in the 9th?

RJ may Think That We Are Like A Family Here, So He Just Posted So We Could Cheer With Him ( He Posted Only Few Minutes Before The 1st Pitch). If He Wanted Us To Bet, He Would Include In His Daily Post.

                  Are you serious???

The guy has changed his story 5 times now and suddenly doesn't want to count his biggest loss of the year?

Integrity my friend. Look it up in the dictionary because this thread and his posts lack all of it.

If you want to back him than fine but come with some substance will ya'

He brought this shit on himself and unless you were here for the previous 20 controversy's he has been in the middle of than you really have no clue.

Why doesn't anyone else get this much heat around here? Probably because their not full of shit with everything they say.

If you post a $27,000 wager in a seperate thread it should mean something and count for something.

This site is number 1 for a reason. You figure it out!

The guy is here 12 hours a day yet finds time to do a record periodically and fudges the numbers when he does, then says his big losers with the yanks were 1/2 of what he originally said it and doesn't count because it would ruin his season??? Get a clue. If the wager was made than the season was ruined period. Don't act like it never happened for christ sakes!

$27,000 last night and another $14,000 or $35,000 tonight depending on if it was a risk wager or not.

Should we look for a $40,000-$50,000 wager tomm.

You And Rj Are 2 Of The Most Respected Members Here At B.c.
My Point Was That He Lost A Big Bet And As A Family , I Think We Should Cheer Him Up , Not The Other Way Around.
Besides Losing His Money, Now He Had To Explain From A To Z...etc...
From $10,000 To $27,000 And In Between, I Personally Dont Think It Matters With Us. As I Saw It, He Did Make A Big Bet With His Buddy But He Did Not Mention It. As It Turned Out To Be A Losing Bet, Some Of Us Kind Of Feel Sorry For Him, So He Just Said That He Only Got 1/2 The Bet Only.( It Does Not Matter To Me At All If He Lost All Or 1/2)
I Dont Think That We Have To Report Every Thing From A To Z To All Of Us Here, Right???In Another Word, Can We Just Drop It And Wish The Best Of Lucks For All Our Members Here.

1st off read the earlier post by him here. Family? Not, he said he wasn't here to make friends. His words, not mine.

2nd, go to other similiar websites and watch the BS fly. We will not accept it here and when i'm receiving email after email about it something has to be done. You might not have bet on it but others might have. Remember that!

And please don't put me and RJ in the same respected sentence together.

                              Guys,

I am willing to bet neither wagers took place. If they did, I feel bad, but as pointed out numerous times, funny math is in the history here. As a gambler, you do not get a bankroll that high to make those wagers betting these type of odds, there is no value in it. Any pro will tell you, the idea of gambling, like any business, is that you search for value in a line. Yankees hurt a lot of us over the past few days, lets move on and get the cash back before Monday so we do not have to pay the man. Good luck to everyone.....And regroup.

LSU...i do not think anyone wishes anyone to lose big money at all.....it hurts just to think about.......however i think if you see sparks response #78 it tells why there was an issue.....also i think folks here would have been more understanding had the story not changed a few times....also RJ cam out firing and wanting to fight (it seems to me) with a couple guys and getting personal (saying a guy is a punk and he would like to meet up with him)...to me that keeps things alive......

i do not think any man likes to be called out over a small discrepancy and RJ when questioned in the past lashes out....so i do not feel bad for the heat he has taken...however, i do feel for his losses.......

i just think he is a young, motivated and fired up guy.....so i cut him slack...but just trying to show you why the heat came his way....i think it has less to do with the actual bet and more to do with the peripheral events related to it
