We played against Prior and Santana last and won both games. Last Wednesday we did the very same and won both also. Pretty cool. Still, last night’s success or failure hinged on the Red Sox / A’s game. All the other action was completed. And the Sox who were losing 5-3 late in the game rallied to pull out a Money Line and Run Line Win for us.
I want you to know I stayed up and listened to the game on 1080 AM Red Sox Radio through all the static and the annoying voices of the announcers …. and Oh My Christ they are annoying.
You guys owe me a beer … no make it 2 !!
The Plays for Wednesday: Greed never takes a day off so here goes.

2* NY Mets IF you can lay –140 or less
1* Florida -115
1 ½* St. Louis -115
2* Angels of Anaheim -135
1* Angels of Anaheim Run Line ( -1 ½ +130 )
Parlay : 4 or 5 Teamer depending on The Mets … if you use The Mets as 1 of the plays above then do not include them in the parlay.

Since there are no –140 ‘s around for our 2* Met Play ( I’m constantly checking 15 houses on Don Best and keep refreshing Pinnacle ) Frankie B just IM’ed me and played the Mets as a Run Line Play laying 1 Run and laying –105
Normally I’m dead set against laying 1 Run for extra vig only because there is no way in hell that we can ever go back 5 years and truly determine whether that maneuver is a net money winner or loser. (In order for 3 Wise Men to change any policy we need a damn good reason.)
But in this case since the Met play is a 2*, I see merit in this move but only because it is a 2*. Way to go Frank.
You may want to consider Frankie’s play and use it today.
