I can't seem to pull the trigger....but I'd love to bet something like 100 to 132 on "No" and just root against them all summer.

As a longtime Sox fan, I need no incentive to root against them unless I bet on them of course.
If betting a buck against them makes you happy, go for it, although I think you ought to get better odds than that.

I think Steinbrenner must be caught between a rock and a hard place.
He can't fire the players and I doubt he will/can fire the manager;that would turn public sentiment in NY against him.
He must be seething now, and if Yanks ever lose today making three in a row against the DRays, a team with a tiny fraction of Yank's payroll, I think George may lose his cool and say or do something(don't ask me what);of course as a Sox fan I would love it.
Personally I think it is time for George to step down;he is getting on in years, and maybe he should try something less stressful;then again he might be lost with no stress.
I suppose we could always make him an honorary member of Bettorschat if he stepped down.

Will the Yankees make the postseason?

          Yes -144

          No +132
IMO the -144 is a steal

Flash-Yankee odds go from +350 to +450 to win the WS.
In comparison Balt. is now +1800.
Get this-Tampa Bay, tied with the Yankees, is +200000-yeah two hundred thousand;does anyone see anything not quite right here?

It's a long season----if and when they turn it around, and do start clicking on all cylinders, they are capable of numerous win streak runs this year....the teams that started out hot, can go cold, complete reversal is possible...kapt

I couldn't agree more. That's why i've stayed out of all this Yankee bashing.

Last year, the Braves were 6 games under .500 on June 25th and ended up 30 games over .500.

This season is far from over.

The only sure thing(and I don't care if it is early), there is no way that a team like Baltimore deserves to be 18-1 to win the WS when Yanks are 4.5-1;if there is any difference at all in talent level between NY and Balt., it sure as heck isn't as great as the odds would indicatee;the Yanks are getting old, are prone to injuries and are living off the reputation of what they did in the past.
Personally I would make both them the Orioles and the Sox about the same, roughly 8-1 or so.

Who ever heard of a team 30 games into the season and with one of the worst records in the majors(another loss tonight), as being the odds on favorite to win the WS? Totally absurd.Do the oddsmakers think the Yanks are Bellamy Road or something?
The Cardinals with one of the best balanced teams in baseball and best records are 7-1-what a joke!
