Ludicrous Yankee Odds to Win WS

I had to laugh when I checked my sportsbook odds(wwts) and still see the Yankees the overwhelming favorite to win the WS at +360. The Red Sox are second at +600 and Cards third at +800;everyone else is + double digits(I have taken some of these other teams) to win it all.
I guess Vegas and many folks think a $200 million payroll, and bunch of vastly overrated, aging and hyped players with no team chemistry translate into a championship.
Sure its early, but one would think that Vegas and people betting would adjust the WS odds to reality and not to how they want them to perform.
Once in a while as we have seen of late the Yanks explode and crush someone, and then turn around and lose the next game or even a few games in a row;this is not a sign of a good team.
The old argument is that Yanks always stink early and then play great down the stretch;I am not so sure this will happen this year.
I think until proven otherwise the Yanks are in a state of decline for the next few years at least.

They're less than 1/6 into the season and you're all writing off the Yanks. IMO it's a bit premature. A few years ago the Yanks started the season in a similar fashion.

I am not necessarily writing them off;all I am saying is that there are teams which must less of a payroll which impress me a lot more;the disparities in the payroll between these teams and that of the Yankees is a lot greater than is the differential level talent level between them.
In other years for example the Yankees completed dominated teams like the Orioles-not so this year.
The rest of the teams in the league are catching up fast to the Yankees, which is living off its past reputation.

My what a discrepancy between Pinnacle and WWTS-Only -144 to make the playoffs at Pinnacle and an overwhelming favorite at wwts at +350 to win WSis there a way to middle this? lol
Actually I am more shocked at the -144 for Yanks with the 200 million to just make the playoffs.
In reality you would have to give me a lot more than +132 to bet against them making the playoffs.
On the other hand I wouldn't give the -144 either.
