Bill Russell won 11 championships as a player. I don't think any athlete in any sport will ever come close to this.Comment

Its pretty hard for any athlete to win 11 championships in this day of high salaries and free agency;very few players stay with the same team for 11 years(as did Russell) let alone win 11 championships.
