With all this weather talk I've got a question for you vets, are the run totals usually higher or lower when there is rain? Is there an advantage to the hitter or pitcher? Do the bullpens usually blow it? Do poor fielding conditions lead to errors? Just curious, thanks in advance for your input.

looking at the radar for Chicago----it looks terrible....seems a bid odd if they are letting fans in the gate--when in reality it looks like they can not play for some time today/if at all.

Go to MLB.com and click the pregame diamond icon (when available). It lets you know temperature and wind conditions of every game. Pretty important info especially at Wrigley.

Wednesday: Sunny skies. High 56F. Winds NE at 15 to 25 mp
with that wind direction means straight in from outfield.

                      go to (no spaces in between) v e g a s i n s i d e r . c o m--------------click on BaseBall, then weather...This is everything you need to know...

Word of caution---wind is a factor in Long Balls, however; humidity is one major factor---you have to consider the Temp/Humidiyt in conjunction with humidity...
