  • question? wrigley field

When the wind is blowing east does anyone know if that's blowing in or out or doesn't matter. it's going to be 15 to 25 mph winds blowing east today with showers. with 2 pitchers hurting a little and possible delays maybe a good over if the winds are blowing out.

it makes a BIG difference at Wrigley.

I used to check a site last year that showed live what the weather was doing and how many mph the wind was blowing and in what direction, but I can't remember it.

When the wind is blowing in East, it will be coming in from Right to Left. With today's weather, I would not expect many long balls at all.

Home plate is at the North-West part of the ballpark.

So far what I've seen is winds blowing in from RF at 20-30mph and a 50% chance of rain(source: The Sportsnetwork). Haven't seen a total on the game yet on scoresandodds. Your point on rain delays w/ Peavy and Prior going today is interesting and will merit some consideration depending on the line. GL

If The Wind Is Blowing From The South West Its Blowing Out.
East Winds= Blowing In From Rightfield Corner

Not Raining Here Yet, Just Dark And Chilli, Cold-humidity.

There was talk here that if it was cold and rainy, that they might scratch Prior. It is cold and rainy. If things don't change in the next few hours, they won't even get it in.

If drinking and driving is illegal, then why do bars have parking lots?
