VNC is another good program to remotely connect to a computer not behind a firewall

Verizon has a wireless modem that can be put into a laptop and you can get online wirelessly anywhere in the country just like if you were using a cell phone. it costs like $60 a month though

        Mega Proxy

        Guys

If you have a firewall at work - use megaproxy . com

It is a proxy server. It does cost 9.95 for a 90 day subscription. It is a proxy server. What that means is that your computer at work is blocked with the firewall at it server. When you use a proxy server - you are bypassing your companies server and using a different server to surf the internet. It works great for me. And for 9.95, you can't beat the price. Plus it is easy - it will take you guys 5 minutes to get set up. They can't trace the places that you went to either.

Just go to megaproxy . com

All you have to do is sign up for the service - it is quick and painless - and then just log in using megaproxy. They will actually give you a new address - mine is www . v41 . com

Then I type in my password and log-in and I can go wherever I want.

            9.95 for 90 days.

            Way cheap

Any way of getting internet access on a company computer that only has an intranet.... ie a net of sites related to the company, inter-company e-mail and selected websites related only to business, no access to the web?
"That ain't working, that's the way you do it... get your money for nothing and your picks for free"

Thanks guys, I think I will try remote connecting to home pc and the megaproxy. I do run XP Pro at home.
I'm 5-11" or 6-2" depending on which convenience store I'm coming out of.
