      The Trick

Dudes I Think I Found The Trick To That. What You Should Do Is Find One Game And Go All In On It That Way If You Win You Can Try To Rebound More And If You Lose Well Fuck It And Back Off For A While. Has Been Working For Me The Past Couple Months. Good Luck In Whatever You Decide. Either Win Big Or Get The Hell Outta The Way. Thats What I Think..

          Please ignore this strategy.

Does one really think they'd hit a higher percentage of their 'All In' plays?

i faile miserably at this a few years. Had to get more disciplne win the worm turns against you at times ..WINNING IS EASY...battling through a losing streak will test you and defeat MOST. if thingss get really COLD it is best to stop atleast for a few days to recharge and reaccess your approach. LUCK s part of the formula but KNOWLEDGE is still key.

Don't be afraid to take days off. There's no written rule you have to play everyday. I take days off very often. I took about 10 days off in January. I needed a fresh perspective.

Some believe in continuing to cap games but don't bet when on a cold streak. When I take some time off I follow sports very little.

Oh! How Correct Oh You Are

P/Sportsfan, you are 100% correct. Been doing this b/s since 1980. Half the years I've done my own capping, and lost enough. It's when I started to listen, and joining s/services that I lost my butt off. I've never won a dollar in all those years. This year I was even after the f/ball season. Then the middle of January arrived, and the b/b wagering started. Been losing ever since. I picked different games from different cappers each night on this board, and that included some service picks. Sportfan, I'm walking in your footsteps, and I second your emotion. Other losers, grab the hand of Sportsfan, and don't leave go. It's nothing to be embarrassed about....
                  yah mon!!!

If you lost every year since 1980, why on earth would not have quit a long time ago?

                      Tony V.

I quit smoking in 1991. I wanted to quit 20 years before, but I was hooked. For some reason I was in the right frame of mind in 1991, and I said "that's it." After I lost this past Friday, a day that I thought was going to be a sure winning day, I had that feeling which told me "no more," pay your losses for the week, and call it quits. And that is just what I am doing. I sign on to ********* site, and pick all the games for fun. I found it more enjoyable, and it won't cost me $$$. Like I stated to other losers in regard to the posting from P/Sportsfan, quitting is nothing to be embarrassed about. Finally, a few years ago I signed on, and became a member on another web site. Like this site, all members would cap college and pro f/ball games during the season. I offered my selections (which I did not wager), and one weekend I hit 15 in a row (ats) . I was awarded the "gorilla award" by the site operator where anyone who received this award is sent a nice b/ball cap with on the front, and a nice tee shirt with a little gorilla on the top left front. Good luck to those who continue wagering.

                        Stripe

Congrats on quitting smoking and now gambling. It takes a lot of will power to give up these two things. Please don't take my question as an insult. I was just curious as to why someone would continue to gamble if all they did was lose. Lots of luck in the future!
