Thanks GV! I was a "Silent" investor on the Tulsa game. I play few plays except my own and when i do i don't like to jinx people by saying i'm on it. I played one small College wager of my own with Boise and it's not looking good right now. I liked Penn too but didn't play them and now i will kick myself. I have not been able to figure out the Ivy League all year so i laid off! ........... DAMN!

    Thanks again Brother!!

      Boise

Haven't been watching the Boise game? Are they worth a halftime shot or outclassed?

          Glad

it won for you "Wainman"!! Lord knows you put out your share of TOP plays which are hugely successful.

I'll just put out a play here and there as there are A TON of cappers on here but with a somewhat limited card thought I'd add a couple to the mix. Even hit the OVER in the INDY/CLEV with the Pacers taking it up a notch for us!

BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE TOMORROW!! goldv

              Great minds think alike....

Again GV I took Cavs 3rd quarter without seeing your post...too bad great minds don't always win! Also, i think i'm game for a small ML lakers bet....

Wayne... I did the same fucking thing with Penn... I really liked them to come back and was even gonna post but didn't... didn't wager either... give yourself an extra kick for me!!!!

Ching.. for what it's worth... i'm on SMU for the game, not gonna take a chance ruining a win with a second half bet!!

              GL tonight all!

                Nice Over

GV. Another nice call. We even had 51 seconds to spare thanks to Stephen Jackson who hit two threes and scored 8 points in less than a minute.

I was watching it with you and i thought for a second it was going to be one of those in which no one scored in the last 2 minutes. I've been burned big time lately with overs looking easy until the last 2 minutes and then not finishing for me.

                  NICE JOB!

Wayne. I felt the same thing. I hate having an Over play when one team is way ahead because I've always thought that more garbage time games end up UNDER because the reserves can't shoot. That's why they are reserves. Tonight we got a little luck.

I'm still sick over the Rookie/Soph game last weekend. That was the 1st time in my life i thought something was fishy and the players knew the total. I've ALWAYS told people they were crazy when they thought the fix was in but i have serious questions about the finish to that game......Still! :angryfire

That's interesting. I've always felt the opposite. I feel late in close game teams player tougher defensively.

In all games teams entering the 3rd quarter with a team up by double digits and win the game by double digits goes OVER 51.3%

However, games entering the 3rd quarter with lead less than 6 points and win the game by less than 6 point only go OVER 48.4%

I have access to a database with 10+ years of NBA data

A factor that often sends games OVER is late in the game when a team is down by 2 or 3 possessions. They continue to foul. Sending the leading team to the FT line. Then the leading team plays tough 3pt defense but gives up easy baskets under the hoop not wanting to foul giving up a 3pt play.

Last season, I lost a UNDER play like that. With about 30 seconds remaining the game was under by 10 points. They scored 11 points in the last 30 seconds. Sending the game over by a 1/2 point.
