Ill agree, USC did play more dominate and left ok spinning. They took the momentum aerly and ran. i dont think ok is as bad as they were made out to be, but usc is more solid than i had even believed. I think ur right about usc winning 7 of 10. usc did what they had to do, left a lot of us with our chin on the ground. How impressive was reggie bush, and ml 5 td passes. and how STUPID do u have to be to try to field a bouncing punt with like 5 guys around u inside the 5.GAME CHANGING play.usc would still be on top, but not by as much i dont think.

Savage, I agreed with much of your initial post in this thread. I do disagree with your following statement:
"Last night Auburn seemed to be a cinch to cover for most of the game and even more so late in the game."
Early in the game Auburn blew many chances to blow the game wide open along with the Va Tech errors. I've seen too many favorites that allow their opponent stay in the game. Many of those favorites lose the game SU. If a team doesn't 'knock-out' their opponent when they have the chance it'll come back to haunt them.

The guy who responded earlier in the post was right about seeing who your friends and comp picks and even these so called services are on or like and double up and go the other way. You'd be surprised at how often you come out ahead of it all. I'm in South Florida so I don't no about California money or Mid West money but down here it was Oklahoma baby all the way can't lose no way send it in with both hands. Result: USC & V-tech got the money, late touchdown for V-Tech or not the ticket cashed and so did I. SHOW ME THE MONEY!!

I went three 3-0 BCS BOWL GAMES and hit my huge lock V-Tech, it would of been 4-0 if I decided to stick with USC, but started looking at the services which were all on Sooners which back pedal me about placing a bet on USC and had me thinking Sooners. After the V-Tech game when I hit big, I said to myself maybe just take a day off, then trying to get into this HYPE to play the game. I wasn't real sure the night before either. With everyone playing Sooners and especially the big money going to Sooners, I should of played USC. Oh well, games come everyday and there might be a big play tonight or tomorrow. You should never buy into the hype especailly when everone in the world is playing the same team, although the nite before everone seem to be on Auburn, I till stuck to one my three original locks which I liked in the beginning of the bowl season. One thing I cannot wait is the NFL playoffs to start.
One thing to note Wayne Root is a good capper, his college plays did very well during the season, did alright in pro football, his bowl games did suck, but I didn't do well in the beginning of the bowl season either. Maybe this is the first year his bowl games didn't go that well, I don't know his previous records for bowl games.

i think the txtech/cal & wyo/ucla result influenced many. as far as Pac 10 not doing well in bowls; oregon st. and ariz st. covered & won handily. 2-2 w/ the 2 losers being Cal (unmotivated) and UCLA ( going up vs. a perceived inferior team & conference).
Perception was that Pac-10 was down, but it was just perception. BCS is becoming like Superbowl, i.e. blowout due to the trailing team trying to do too much to recover.
