NCAAF: Virginia Tech Hokies at Auburn Tigers - Under 44 -110
Game Date: 1/3/2005
Note: Tonight's game features 2 of the best Defenses in the country. The Tigers lead the nation in scoring defense giving up just 11 points per contest!! During the regular season, Auburn gave up just 1 rushing TD!! Don't expect the Hokies not to try to run though as both of their RB's, Imoh and Humes, are both healthy for the first time this season. We know what Auburn likes to do. This game is going to be about running the football, field position, and cautious play. The Hokies just happen to be #3 overall in defense allowing just 12.7 points per game. We look for total somewhere in the low 30's if everything goes as we expected. There is no doubt that both teams will have few new offensive wrinkles, as both practice sessions for each team has been pretty much closed to the public. Barring any unforeseen big plays, this one goes Under easily....

The only reason to go to www.vegasadvantage.com is to get the scores of the games in case ***** gets slow or goes down, which happens alot. But you can get scores almost anywhere.

ProPicks.cc free play for monday
After going 4-1 yesterday and sweeping their NCAA hoops games (3-0), they finished the week 16-6. I may sign up with them for a week or so but it is hard to think they can hit that again. Ill update if I do but for now here is their free pick for the day.
Minnesota -10 1/2 over Loyola Marymount - regular play.
Still hoping someone can find Brandon Lane in time for the NFL playoffs

1) Grapevine Sports 5* BOWL LOCK Auburn-5.5
This will be our last bowl play of the season guys after going 2-2 to date. A win in this game will give us a 3-2 record overall including our 7* Bowl LOY winner in Colorado. We are going with the team we feel is the best team in college football this season. We had a few tickets on Auburn at 40-1 to win the National Championship and got the short end of that stick as the best team in the country is not playing in the title game. Some are talking about this Auburn team possibly giving a Cal type performance in this game because they are not playing tomorrow night. Its not gonna happen. Auburn has plenty on the line tonight. An undefeated season at 13-0 and another solid performance and they might have an outside shot at the coaches poll and we could see another split national championship this year. Matchup wise its very close on both sides of the ball as both teams are lead by great head coaches, top 5 defenses, and great QB's. Both teams will give a top effort tonight and it should be a great game. Both clubs have several quality wins on their schedule, gun to head we would side with Auburns wins as more impressive seeing that beat LSU/UGA and Tenn2X and other than a miracle on the last play of the LSU/IOWA game all 3 of those teams would have won their bowl games. We have no choice but to side with this Auburn team that has not played 1 bad game all season long and absolutely blizted a very solid Tennessee team (that just crushed a very good A&M in their bowl game) twice this year piling up over 400yards in the 1st meeting and a ridiculous 590yards in the SEC title game. The potential difference maker in this game is clearly the vaunted Virginia Tech special teams that almost always seems to come up with a big play like a blocked punt or field goal. Auburn has had a few weeks to prepare for the VT special teams that can change the complexion of a game with 1 snap of a football. VT is gonna have to prepare for what we feel is the biggest advantage in this game. Auburns offense is one of the most well balanced in college football. Averaging over 430yards a game, 240 thru the air and almost 200 a game on the ground. They are lead by senior QB Jason Campell who is completing almost 70% of his passes and the senior backfield of Carnell Williams and Ronnie Brown who have combined to put up ridiculous numbers this year of almost 2000yards, 20 touchdowns and over 50 receptions. Until they show us otherwise we refuse to believe there is a more complete team in the nation than the Auburn Tigers. Week after week they rose to the challenge in the toughest conference in football the SEC, winning the conference title and going 9-0 in the process. We expect Auburn to rise to the challange again tonight defeating a solid VT team capping the best season in college football this season. Auburn Tigers are the de facto 2004 National Champions
