My hope believe it or not is that perhaps Phil or someone in his office will read one of my posts or others saying the same thing and he will benefit from it especially if he finds decreasing sales-maybe even cut down on his 4-5 minute daily commercials.
If it bothers you that I criticize him or any other service for that matter, then you can ignore it or respond like you just did ;there is freedom of speech in this country, but I will call the shots as I see them.
I like reading your posts about the Steele man............I have a friend who thinks this guy is god..............of course he is always broke but continues to go on his selections day after day week after week.............he had a helluva time swallowing Phil pro game of the yr on Denver against KC (loser 45-17) and his college bowl game of the yr on Memphis (loser 52-something) both losses Phils teams gave up an average of 48 points..............pretty hard to win games of the yr when you give up 40 some points.............of course Phil always has a way of justifying his losses by saying "over the last 4 yrs we are 17-5 of these plays"........likes anyone is really keeping track of his bowl game of the yr 4 yrs ago........
I pounded that total at pinnacle at -226. I went with it. I also loaded up on the over 79.50 2nd half play. it won because it went to OT. I was lucky but the over was not close at any time.
Maverick-Thanks for that.
What I found amusing about Steel's GOY loser in the NFL is that he went on and on regarding how it was the zillionth week of the NFL, and unlike other services he gives out only one GOY in NFL;by my way of thinking that makes the play pretty special and certainly NOT the total embarrasing slaughter that KC gave Denver.
As stated before, to newbies not schooled in slick marketing, Phil would make a wonderful used car salesman and could probably make a case for the worst beat up and old POS car on the lot.
Oh, this is the worst-looking hat I ever saw. What, when you buy a hat like this I bet you get a free bowl of soup, huh? Oh, it looks good on you though.
I'm a newcomer who wants to thank all of you for the contributions (although Big Al's pick yesterday got me to go opposite on my Oregon St. pick).
Anyway, Godspicks for today are:
4 units Okl. St.
3 units Colorado
UTEP Under
3 units Charlotte
4 units Detroit Over
4 units Utah Over
4Units West Virginia
4 units Wisconsin
3 units Tenn-Chatt.
I've lost a lot going with him since September, but he had a hot beginning and middle of December but has not done well last two days (had both Miami Oh. and pathetic, surprisingly heartless Notre Dame yesterday).
Last point: I think Big AL's and Marc Lawrence's bowl game picks are going to get hot- just a gut feeling. But I'm all for fading Sebastian from now till January 4th. Best of luck to you all and Happy 2005!
I'm here cally .. If I see it I will post it pal ....
