Virtually all sports service operators use pseudonyms for reasons that date back to the origins of the industry---befroe TV, the internet, etc. They didn't want to advertise to the world that were GAMBLING. Among those who use pseudonyms: Blazer's Gordon Michaels, Phil Steele, , JB, John Carrington, Howard Battle, Kevin O'Neill, Jeff Allen, Mike Warren, Stu Feiner, and I think, Jim Feist.
