Don Best Steam Plays

Don Best Live Lines are the sharpest you can find in the country, like a nickel a month for the service. The Don Best Steam Plays are line moves that they post for free. Problem is that some of the line moves are just due to injuries or public money (or in football and baseball weather conditions). There is no way to tell which are true smart money moves unless you have contacts in Vegas on the inside in the books. The Don Best steam moves run hot and cold, but if you track them for months and years they do not really win in the long run. SOME of the plays on the list are valid smart money moves, while others are just square line moves caused by various factors that cannot be relied on to follow or coattail. Basically, just something to look at but never something to rely on (just my opinion)

To clear up any confusion, the don best plays posted are the "steam" comp plays. And yes they are very streaky.

I don't know if someone died in San Antonio lol but the over/under has gone from like 179 down to 173! You see many line moves in the hours before games start, but SIX POINTS!?!?!?!

I have the Spurs, so I hope maybe that will mean Detroit finishes with like 60 points lol!

The way to determine the steam moves from square moves on Donbest is to look at the speed and severity of the moves.

Basically if they move several points and FAST, i.e. go through the main books in less than 30 secs, it's probably steam.

I follow a guy on another board who posts Steam plays as they come out on Don Best Premium so you can try to grab them before they move too much, I'd be happy to relay them over here if they're wanted although they'd be over the course fo several posts and not in a big list until the end of the night.
