I don't have any Best Bets for Friday night based on current line, but 3 games are pretty
close and could become Best Bets if the lines move in our favor.
Miami (-8) 103 CHICAGO 89 if line moves to -7
PHOENIX (-4 ½) 111 Minnesota 100 if line moves to -4
Golden State (+9) 94 LA LAKERS 97 if lines moves to +10

PICK: Indiana Pacers (NBA) Sure, Pacers are thinned by player suspensions but the fact remains they haven’t quit. Noting Indiana’s 15-5 SU & ATS mark in this series (including 5-0 ATS when off back to back losses) we’ll opt for the points in this overlay tonight. Play on Indiana over Sacramento.

PICK: Memphis Grizzlies (NBA) Something has got to give here. The Griz have lost their last five against the spread and the Sixers have dropped their last three ATS. We think that Memphis will respond with an inspired effort for their new coach, Mike Fratello. This team has been in limbo for the last week without a coach, and that is part of the reason for their poor performance on the court. Memphis plays quality defense at home and they will get it done against a Philadelphia squad that is banged up. Take Memphis –5 Over Philadelphia.

PICK: South Florida (CFB Saturday) As a season Ticket Holder of the Pitt Panthers I would like nothing better than to see Pitt win and secure a BCS Bowl Bid. As much as my heart says to take Pitt my head says the play is S. Florida. This is S. Florida's Bowl Game as they would love nothing better than to ruin Pitt's plans today. Pitt is coming off of their 2 BIGGEST WINS of the Year in beating Notre Dame & West Virginia. With all that said the biggest reason to take the home dog is Coach Walt Harris who too often plays not to lose instead of playing to win. That conservative nature is what may have already cost him his job at season's end. In a nail biter we'll back the dog. Take S. FLORIDA!!

PICK: Navy (CFB Saturday) Navy has scored 24 points or more in seven game this season. Expect another impressive offensive performance from Navy. Army has surrendered 24 points or more in eight games this season. Expect Army’s defense to struggle throughout the game. Navy is 3-1 SU and ATS against Army since 2003. Expect this game to be all Navy

PICK: Army (CFB Saturday) This game is much bigger for Army. Navy has already accepted an invitation to play in the Emerald Bowl, where they will face either New Mexico or Wyoming. It marks just the second time that Navy will advance to a bowl game in consecutive years. Army will be playing its final game of the year. The Black Knights closed out their 1-10 season in 2002 with a 58-12 loss to the Midshipmen and then finished last year's 0-13 season with a 34-6 loss to them once again. Bobby Ross is determined to avoid another blowout to end this season. Army usually goes home for Thanksgiving but this year Ross kept his team at West Point practicing over the holidays. As mentioned, Army got blown out in last year's game. The loser from the previous year has gone 14-8 ATS over the last 22 meetings in this series though. Expect more of the same on Saturday as the inspired Black Knights hang within the inflated number. Play on Army.
