Did ASA win their GOY or not?

Sports, it moved both locally and offshore. Locally it went to 20, pretty quickly (and I gave them no action) but I did have 17 everywhere at the time of release.

The pick was Minnesoa, a smashing winner. The reason for the confusion was because of a poster on this board who used the handle SlimJim. He not only posted the wrong play, he re-posted and insited he was correct. This is the third week in a row someone deliberatley posted a false play on a huge service release from a major service. Please take all future posts by SlimJim with a grain of salt. For what its worth, ASA is now 8-0 lifetime with its midwest game of the year.

Not sure if that is entirely fair. Many of these posts are received from Monitor services that may get the wrong play. I would hope nobody is deliberately posting incorrect games, they just may have a poor source.

If you re-read SlimJim's post, he claimed he CALLED ASA after the pick was challenged on this board, and says they told him the game already started, whereas the Minnesota game started two hours after the Penn State game. Others here also gave Brassbell---the fake Northcoast poster---the benefit of the doubt. I don't.
