No gripes at all! I know the Red Sox are just prolonging their fans' agony. Just remember how many different ways they have found to lose. I totally expect a Game 7, with you guys winning until the 8th or 9th and then THE CURSE KICKS IN:D And to call the Yankees the Bankees is a little extreme. C'mon tony! The difference in salary between Boston and N.Y. is equal to Pittsburgh,milwaukee, and Montreal's whole team payroll combined!!!!! That's just the DIFFERENCE between them.

We do not spend like the yanks, plain & simple and with the YES network and almost twice as many seats, we will not be able to. :D

My point exactly Chuck! We spend and spend as the Red Sox spend and spend. Plus money only gets you so far. It is spending it wisely that wins championships. And next year their should be a guy named Carlos playing CF for the Yanks I am really ready for the game tonight and I love all this trash talking!

Dont worry about our friend Tony Vegas,he is just NERVOUS about tonights game. Oh and as far as payroll goes. Boston approx. 120million the BANKEES 180million its no contest. Yankees have an empire in the YES network, as well as marketing rights to their NYY logo which rakes in millions. Not to mention the metropolitan NYC area has 15million + fans/viewers to choose from which helps drastically in revenue. I also love how yankee fans say well "we have home grown players" My response to that is well where else is jeter,bernie,pissada, gonna go? Anywhere they want to sign there gonna take a pay cut. ie Andy Pettitte. I mean for got sake Pissada is a average catcher and he makes 10 million a year GIVE ME A BREAK GIVE IT UP BANKEE FAN!!!!!

If you are already crying about the Yanks spending more money and that is why they are going to win, then you my friend have already lost. The Marlins beat them last year, the Diamonbacks, the Angels all beat the Yanks with SMALLER payrolls then your Red Sox. All I am saying is that the Yanks spend more than Red Sox no doubt, but that doesn't mean they will win. You still have some high priced player such as D. Ortiz, Petey Martinez, Schilling, Manny, Damon. So don't come crying in hear about that is why they will lose. If any Brewers, Devil Rays, Blue Jays, Royals, Pirates, or any other small market team wants to cry then I will listen but I won't listen to second highest spending team do it. Plus maybe you guys could have such a national following and get your own cable network if you won something this past century. Well I guess anybody can have a bad century
