New England –6.5
Buffalo
New England travels to Buffalo for a Sunday afternoon battle. Most views shared by the public seem to think New England has had this game circled since they lost to Buffalo last year and will be seeking revenge. Well New England got their revenge, they won the Super Bowl and Buffalo was home for the playoffs. Revenge in the NFL never seems to carry the weight of a revenge game in college football and there are several schools of thought on this issue but that is for another time and place. Buffalo has the ability to run the football and use the controlled passing game even though it has be absent from their arsenal so far this year. Buffalo has their proverbial backs against the wall in this game and it would go a long way in building confidence if they could upset New England for the second time in two years. Buffalo is 5-0-1 ATS as a dog after a bye week. Super Bowl Champs are 0-6 ATS following a bye week and New England is 1-17-1 ATS in its second road game of the season. Also the home team in this series is 5-1 ATS the last 6 games. Catching a good defensive team at home and getting points we will back the dog!
4* Buffalo +6
As Always Good Luck!

VEGAS VIC
Jets (-6) over DOLPHINS
Off to a 2-0 start, and with a week off to heal some nicks and bruises, the New Yorkers should have an easy time with this smelly group of Fish. The Dolphins are 0-3, have changed quarterbacks yet again (this time from A.J. Feeley back to Jay Fiedler), and have a running game that is beyond pathetic. Check it out. Miami has gained a grand total of 142 yards on the ground through three games, and Ricky Williams rushed for more than that six times in single games in his 2 years down in Florida. With an average of 2.1 yards per rush, a scoring average of 7.6 points per game, and their best receiver, Chris Chambers, listed as questionable, where are the Dolphins gonna find any points? Maybe in garbage time at the end of the game when the Jets are comfortably ahead by, let's be kind, somewhere around two dozen.
RAVENS (-5) over Chiefs
Before the season started, we felt that Baltimore would be very strong and run through the AFC North with ease, but after a strange opening week loss to Cleveland, we jumped off the Ravens' back. It was only temporary, because we were right back on the wagon last week as they stifled Cincinnati, 23-9. Strong defense with a little bit of "O" was Baltimore's recipe for a Super Bowl season back in 2000, and this team has that look. Jamal Lewis finally found the right holes last week and rumbled for 186 yards. Baltimore is 7-0 at home since early last season. The last team to win there? Kansas City. Can you say revenge. This is also the Ravens first shot in front of the MNF cameras in more than a year and a half, and you know Ray Lewis and the defense are gonna put on a show.
Eagles (-9) over BEARS
Laying a big, fat nine spot on the road is kinda scary, but then again, so is Philly's offense, and, defense. The Birds have scored the most points in the NFC and won their first three games by double digits. No one else has. Now they face a Chicago team that has more injuries than a M*A*S*H* unit, and will start Jonathan Quinn, medicine man, at QB. Better have a doctor in the house.
Giants (+7) over PACKERS
Last week, we wondered if the Giants could maintain their defensive intensity, and they did, allowing Cleveland only 10 points. Obviously, Green Bay has a little more punch than the Browns, but with Brett Favre gimping around on a bad hamstring, and Kurt Warner looking surprisingly agile and accurate, we expect a tight fit up in the not yet frozen tundra.
CHARGERS (+3) over Titans
Steve McNair spent 2 days in the hospital, and they're listing him as questionable, which means, we might see the one and only Billy Volek. Even if McNair does play, you know he will not be 100%, and will probably rely more on the run than the pass. Bonus. Why? San Diego is seventh in the NFL against the run, and gave up only 37 to Denver last week. "O.U!" Not over/under, but outright upset.
Bengals (+4) over STEELERS
Pittsburgh has simplified its offense with rookie QB Ben Roethlisberger at the helm, which is why the Steelmen have scored just 13 points each of the last two times out, and, why Cincy will cover.
Falcons (+3) over PANTHERS
Atlanta fell asleep last week (6-3 over Arizona) after a huge win the week before against St. Louis, but you can bet that Michael Vick and the offense will wake up for this crucial NFC South showdown.
