I agree with who2beton. There's no difference between this thread and the service thread. It's all about sharing.

That being said SG I appluade what you tried doing. Sometimes the best ideas turn to be duds.

Hey, maybe for next year we would have enough guys(gals) to chip in a few dollars each, appoint a person or two to sign up for the newsletters, with the sole purpose of posting them on this forum. If you check the sub. rates for the season, they are really not that expensive.

Powersweep, is under under $100, if ordered early. Winning points is, I believe under 2 something for the entire year, football season only, is much less.

Just an idea.

spike why can't you see thats all I was trying to do. This is not a business of mine, I have a job. How can $5/week be any cheaper...and I send out the whole thing not just text of the plays which is alot different.

The problem is this. I want to continue to do this so if next year but I cannot have all of them posted. I have like 14-15 now which FYI cost alot more then $2000. All I wanted was a "cost sharing situation" i did not want to get compensation for all the time it takes me to put this package together. But lets be honest here, if you bet $500 or so a weekend you cannot afford $5 a week to insure that you will get the benefit of this next year.

Take the steam sheet for example. I begged my guys not to post it and it of course was. I not only lost my source, but i have to find another way to get it (and I will) until it happens again. So I'm out even more money. I understand many of you are here due to the fact that its free. But let me tell you Kosmo isn't making much on this if anything at all and he spends hours and hours making sure you guys are happy. I try to do the same thing.

It was and still is open to 20 people. I have narrowed down who i believe is posting them, so soon that will stop as well but its has taken unnessarrily to much of my time which is valuable to me and for what? So everybody can see them? What will happen is this and I know it. If they are continued to be posted I will lose most of the sheets for next season and during the course of this season and thats not fair to everybody that takes advantage of this deal many of which are members here. You can talk about next year, but if you do it will cost you the same or more, as it has been really difficult to even get to 20 people so you will all have to kick in even more money then what i am offering this for. Would you like it then, that you paid for those sheets then I come along and plaster them all over the place for "free" so you guys paid for a service for no reason as they are free to see, and people will not be encouraged to help you out. Thats what is happening to me. Many people signed up for the free trial and will they help out...no because of these people who feel the need post everything. I guess i should charge $500 because then these same people would have alot harder time posting them for free...but i don't i made the deal reasonable even at a loss to myself. Some of you I worked out payment arrangements $25 incriments, some i said pay me when you can based on your word so its not like i am a dick about this.

I agree if i was a huge service, dishonest then go right ahead...but keep in mind you are cutting off the hands that feeds this information to you guys. If i stop sending them altogether (which is quite possible now) then you will have nothgin to post unless somebody goes and buys them this week for a cost of...close to $130/week for the 15 or so I sent. I told you guys I was happy to let you chose a few each week, and I'm really good about this so I would post more in all likihood but I cannot have the "all" posted that was my one groundrule. Please respect that.

And whotobeton, feel free to try them out and see the difference of what I send in comparrison to what your getting. Ill give you this and next week absolutely free as I have done for most people. Maybe then you will see the effort i put into this and you will change your mind on posting them.

SG, no one said that that's not what you were trying to do, hell I sent you my 100 and I thought that was fair. I don't care if you have 15 or 150 people signed up. And I don't care if you make money either. I enjoy reading the write-ups and sometimes it helps with my capping.

That said, looking at the sub rates (have not seen all) I don't see the over $2000. Maybe you could explain? Also were you not buying the steam sheet? I have not seen a price on that yet.

My idea was we all chip in for the exact cost and post them here. This board is all about sharing. I pay for certain things and I share them here if asked. Thick and spark and others do such a good job in posting all services, sometimes I can only beat them in timing of a particular service.

An no I wouldn't share your reports, because you asked, even if I didn't agree with you. However I don't begrudge the reports showing up even though I paid for them. Also as you know, there are many useful things in those reports that don't show up here, because the whole report can't be reproduced here.

In short, I do think your deal is fair, and I appreciate the time it takes to do it and get them out on time, but I don't like the anomosity that surrounds all of this, thus I made my suggestion.

I am worried about losing the contacts, my subscriptions thats whats I am worried about since then I will have to re-subscribe at an additional cost to me. And many of the sheets i do not get early bird discounts as i wait until at least a few people sign up. i believe you could get them all for aroound $1900-2000 if you get them early. Lets not forget I am sending between 13-15 a week and most of them are around $120-150 early bird some are more then that.

It doesn't bother me that everyone at this site gets to see the newsletters. And it doesn't bother me that I paid for them, what bothers me is that by posting them, we could lose them.
Im not against sharing, I just don't want to lose a good thing.

SG, I tried your free trial last week and signed up this week. It's an absolutley fantastic service and worth a hell of lot more than you charge. I mean seriously, $100, you could charge a lot more if profit was the sole motive.

Why is so difficult for some to understand that you are just trying to recoup some of the cost and hell even if you did make a profit who cares. I like the newslletters as it gives you a bevy of information from many different sources to consider before wagering.

It's very obvious that the newsletter information posted here is comming from SG when he e-mails them. The specific newsletter posted here is done so shortly after receiving the e-mail from SG. Why doesn't someone post the newsletters before SG sends them or post ones that SG is not sending if they are so readily available elsewhere?

If anyone thinks that what has been cut and posted here and other forums from the various newsletters is the same as receiving the complete newsletters via e-mail in an easy to read pdf format, guess again. If you just wnat the newsletters plays then yes you can find them out there. But in my opinion, the best part of the newsletters are the various right ups and statistics.

Thanks again SG for this service and wouldn't worry about the crap that has been posted here and elsewhere. Keep up the good work.

By the way, I have an idea on how to determine who is buying the newsletters and posting them if interested, e-mail me.
