North Coast
Mike Lee 3 star
Seattle/ Kansas City Over
Note: He also was very candid about his poor pre season football - although he was quick to point out it was only his 4 or 5th losing week in preseason this decade.
Savage will probably go crazy listening to him :-)

Sebastian's comp. play is Cincinnati.
Computer Boys picks (not comps) are 5*'s each on San Diego, Oakland and Cincinnati.
LLWM-Yes Phil Steele of Northcoast was honest, and we got the usual worn out tape about how he always tells us about the losers as well as the winners.
That being said, I think a people are going to lose a lot of money this year if they chase ridiculous lines movements by as much as 3 points in his games once they are released as we saw yesterday.
He may have had an outstanding season overall last season in NFL, but he has not done nearly that well in prior seasons and in my estimation things will return to normalcy this season.
Chasing big line moves in the NFL is even more absurd and dangerous as opposed to college as lines are much tighter.
I think yesterday's dismal performace should serve as a warning to all those who lost playing Northcoast's plays and to others who might think about playing them in the future especially when there are huge line moves;he ain't god and don't forget it.

Season record:Ê223-229Ê-23.12 UNITS
Ê
OVER 10 NYY (MUSSINA)/TOR (BATISTA) -120 - 10:05am Pacific
I don't believe Mussina is fully recovered from his injury.Ê In his last start, his fastball was clocked at only 81-84 mph.Ê He somehow managed to get the win, but he won't keep it up if he pitches like this.Ê Batista got rocked by the Yankees a couple of starts ago, and is having a poor second half.Ê Sheffield will be out, but the Yanks should still put runs on the board.
Ê
DET (LEDEZMA) +172 over Bos (Wakefield) - 1 UNIT - 11:05am Pacific
Wakefield is winning, but he's actually in one of the worst slumps he's ever been in.Ê In his last start, he won despite allowing 14 baserunners and 10 hits.Ê In his last start against Detroit, he gave up 6 HRs.Ê The Tigers should continue to hit him, as Wakefield hasn't shown that he's out of his slump yet.
Ê
TEX (YOUNG) -134 over Bal (Ponson) - 1 UNIT - 11:05am Pacific
