The Bucs are playing in their second game in just five days, but preseason games are not as physical as a regular season game so they players should be ready to go. Tampa's offensive line is really banged up, yet all three quarterbacks played excellent. If Tampa can cut back on the penalties they should crush the Jags. Jacksonvilles offense looked horrible last week and they only scored three points all game so now that they are a three point favorite it is a wise move to go against them. The Jags have showed absolutley nothing yet and Tampa looked good against the Bengals. Look for the Bucs to play better especailly in the second half when their backup QB's will out shine the Jags backups.

There is a recent historical trend in this game that is worth exploiting with a modest bet on the Over / Under total points market, but we stress the word "modest". This is the preseason after all, and betting on total points is more volatile at this juncture than it is later on in the season. In 2003 the Ravens played two preseason road games, and both finished Under as well. Their first game this season was no different, although in the case of the Ravens the defense looked very sharp.

Both teams will still rely primarily on defense in the regular season, and we predict that the Ravens will struggle to move the ball here. The Eagles are still in need of more fine-tuning, with their big name players easing into training camp. Expect more mistakes and a game that fails to produce 30 combined points.
