Winner: Over 9.5

REASON: I like this over alot. First the hitter friendly ball park is beautiful. Now mix in the Red Sox hitting with Miller of the Jays. He has a 6.00 ERA in his last 3. The last time he faced the Red Sox they scored 9 that game. He has limited work this season with only 49.1 innings pitched. So he is still working out kinks. Wrong ballpark, wrong team and wrong fans to have that going against you. Then you got Lowe who is 16-7 in over/unders this year. He has an ERA over 4.00 in last 3 games. Not to mention he has gone over in both games against the Jays this year. Look for the balls to be flying in this game.

This is a very interesting game from a betting perspective, and it is difficult to predict what will happen here with any degree of certainty (which is why we're giving it away for free - no big bets are recommended on this game). The Seahawks are going to be a formidable team this season, but this is exhibition football and their record in this format under Holmgren is unappealing. The Seahawks are far tougher at home, and this holds true for the preseason. They are only 1-7 ATS in preseason road games over the last 4 years. The Packers were pounded in both preseason home games last year, however, and it is no sure thing that they will cover tonight.

The total points market has been set at 37, which you might notice is higher than the typical line we saw this weekend (most games went off at 33). There is good reason for this, and we still don't think the line is high enough. Both teams have good QB depth this season, and plenty of defensive issues. Couch will come in after Favre, while Dilfer, Wallace, and Huard can all put points on the board after Hasselbeck is done for Seattle. These two teams combined for a high-scoring playoff game last year in Green Bay (high excitement as well), and we feel that they will continue where they left off. Both teams should get to 20+ on the scoreboard, and this is clearly the shrewd bet to place here.

Dodger Stadium will be a reunion tonight. Remember, these are the two teams that were involved in that 6 player deal. Who knows who got the better end but I know one thing about tonight, you have two red hot pitchers doing battle.


Florida goes with Carl Pavano, who has been deadly lately. He suffered a tough luck loss to St. Louis last Wednesday, as he allowed just six hits and a run over eight innings of a 1-0 loss. The hurler fanned five and walked four in the contest. Just look at his numbers on the road this year. He is 7-1 with 3.43 ERA and against the Dodgers, he has tallied a 4-1 mark with a 2.39 ERA. Not many runs will be scored tonight.

The Dodgers go with Jeff Weave, who has won three straight starts, including a victory over Cincinnati last Wednesday. Weaver hasn't given up more than three earned runs since April 24 -- a span of 20 starts. Think about that for a second. He has gone 20 starts without giving up more than 3 earned runs.

I look for both of these pitchers to dominate and for this to be a low scoring game. You also add the fact that both of these teams flew over 5 hours apiece and you have the makings of some tired ball players going against red hot pitcher. This is an easy under.

Guys, after over 400 MLB plays documented at 2 sports monitoring sites, he now says that I have been exposed. that is an utter joke and something only a weirdo would say. I post all my plays at all the forums the next day, regardless of their win or loss record. No matter how good i do or how bad a do on a given night, there will always be bashers.
