Two slumping teams meet. Hendrickson has been pitching well lately but last time he faced Toronto he gave up 7 runs in 3 innings before getting yanked. Toronto won 14-0. Miguel Batista's given up just 10 home runs in 130 innings pitched this year. He's is 23-5 (+15.4 Units) against the money line in home games as a favorite of -110 or higher and 27-9 (+16.6 Units) against the money line in home games over the last 3 seasons. I like Toronto, in front of the home crowd, to show up after a disappointing road stint (the last being a shutout). Tampa, after a surprising late early-season run, has been getting hammered as of late. Teams following two or more performances in which they allowed 7 runs or more when facing an opponent after getting shut out are only 17-37 since 1997. Toronto is 22-5 (+15.6 Units) against the money line vs. teams outscored by opp by 0.5 or more runs/game in the second half of the season over the last 3 seasons. One unit on the Blue Jays to break out of their slump.
