Matt rivers has a big pick on det/indy game, if he gets it wrong you get all his picks until AUG 1st. It also includes 3 baseball games. Looks like a good deal, and hes pretty good in bases, so getting over 2 months worth of picks might be profitable.
Can anyone find this pick? His freebie is TB LightningLast edited by Blackbeard; 05-22-2004, 06:20 AM.

I'll have something for the All Star race on Saturday, but here's who I
like in the Sunday Busch Series Race from Nazareth, PA:
50% of wager on Kyle Busch @ 6/1
20% of wager on Ron Hornaday @ 12/1
20% of wager on David Green @ 10/1
10% of wager on ****** Sauter @ 19/1 <5 Dimes>

edit: that's ****** Sauter who got starred out above; don't know why that happens?
2nd edit: what is so offensive about a guy's first name? it's j-o-h-n-n-yLast edited by caper; 05-22-2004, 10:04 AM.

Dr. Bob
Saturday Analysis
INDIANA (-5) 85 Detroit 79
The Pacers ended the season with the best record in the NBA, but the Pistons have been a better team since Rasheed Wallace joined the team just after the All-Star break. That fact, however, is not reflected in the pointspread – which is too high. However, game 1 home favorites of less than 12 points are a profitable 105-74-4 ATS since 1991 and Indiana qualifies in a solid 33-12-1 ATS game 1 subset. The situation is worth a bit more than the line value, but I’ll have to pass on this game.

Saturday MLB Free Play!
5/22/04: Free Play from Prime Sports Picks
SAN FRANCISCO (Williams) -110 at MONTREAL (Vargas) +100:
MLB - 7:05PM (EST)
The Giant's Jerome Williams is really struggling right now. Williams has lost his last 2 starts in a row and the team is winless in his last 4 outings. With San Francisco's offense struggling lately, the value here is on the Expos at home getting even money.
Best of luck,
-Drew

Season record: 85-94 -19.49 UNITS
(Note: WOB is now 38-20, 65.5% on OVER/UNDER plays this season.)
Seven plays for Saturday:
Lines from Pinnacle current as of 12:02am Pacific on 05/22/04.
STL (WILLIAMS) -142 over CHC (Rusch) - 1 UNIT - 10:20am Pacific
Williams has had great success against the Cubs' hitters, and has put together quality starts in four out of his last five games. With the wind expected to be blowing out, this isn't as safe as it normally would be, but Rusch is simply too easy to hit. The Cardinals lineup should have not trouble against him, and should be able to provide ample run support.
MIL (SHEETS) -135 over Pit (Fogg) - 1 UNIT - 4:05pm Pacific
Sheets now has 8 high quality starts in a row, including the dominating 18 K performance his last time out. Even with those Ks, he threw only 116 pitches, so I don't expect a burnout from him in this game. I love betting against Fogg, especially at relatively low number like this. Fogg has improved over his last two starts, but he is still bad. The big **** in starting pitching goes to Milwaukee.
KC (GREINKE) +181 over Oak (Zito) - 1 UNIT - 1:05pm Pacific
The best right handed prospect in baseball makes his much anticipated debut, and I like him at this number against a declining skills pitcher in Zito. Zito was excellent in his last start against KC, but this number is too high for him. He has pitched very well against the KC hitters in the past, which is why I also like the under in this game, but because of his declining skills, I think he is capable of pitching poorly in any given start.
UNDER 9.5 KC (GREINKE)/OAK (ZITO) - 1 UNIT - 1:05pm Pacific
OVER 9.5 CHW (COTTS/MIN (RADKE) - 1 UNIT - 4:10pm Pacific
Cotts has struggled with control and command, and will be facing the 6th ranked Twins offense. His is moving in from the bullpen, so stamina will also be an issue. Radke hasn't fared too well against the Sox hitters, so they should put up a few runs on him as well.
UNDER 8.5 DET (JOHNSON)/SEA (PINEIRO) - 1 UNIT - 7:05pm Pacific
I'm confident that Pineiro's all the way back, and he should pitch a great game against Detroit. I'm not excited by Johnson, but Seattle's offense has been so bad that I think even Johnson can put in a decent performance. I think Seattle will have to score a bunch of runs to put this one over, as the Tigers will have a tough time scoring off of Pineiro, and the way Seattle's has been hitting will make that tough.
UNDER 8.5 BAL (PONSON)/ANA (ESCOBAR) - 1 UNIT - 7:05pm Pacific
Escobar has had great success against the Baltimore lineup, and the Angels offense is hutring big time due to injuries. Although they scored 5 runs last night, they've got some major offense missing from their lineup, which should lead to struggles at the plate. Baltimore should also have a tough time scoring due to their history against Escobar.
