It should have been a winning day for you, John. Isringhausen blew it for the Cards in the ninth. He walks the lead off hitter and had another walk in the inning. If you are going to be a successful closer, you have to be able to throw strikes. Isringhausen is not what the Cards need in that position.

every year i go through this with these scumbag relievers. usually it evens out on both sides but so far not this year. 2nd time in a week i've lost with 2 outs in the 9th inning, the last time with a 4 run lead and nobody on base.

i swear to god all relief pitchers should be put on an island and nuked. by far the worst ennemy of a sports bettor. 95% of them f**king suck:angryfire
