Prediction: Seattle Mariners

Reason: Safe to say the Mariners are not off to a good start as after last night's 5-0 loss the team has opened 2004 2-8, including 0-4 at home! The losing at home STOPS tonight though! Jamie Moyer is coming off a 21-win season LY as the Mariners went 25-8 in his starts, including 14-2 at home! That's a GREAT year but Moyer's been having that kind of success all through the new decade as since 2000, the Mariners are 88-41 in his starts, including 46-20 at home! Somehow, the Rangers actually went 15-11 in Colby Lewis' starts last year despite his 7.30 ERA but Lewis has pitched MUCH BETTER in two starts this year with an ERA of 3.48 in two Texas wins. While Moyer has not been sharp in his first two starts (10.2 ip / 16 h / 10 ER), expect BOTH pitchers to get back to their "usual" form here, which means a play on the Mariners.
