NHL Playoff Plays............
2-0 yesterday on the writeups with both the Lightening and Flyers winning easily.....The Boner Play was later as the Lightening game did not go over the total...........
Nashville +250....I guess we are just getting tired of waiting for the Wings to wake up. They won games 1 and 2 despite being outplayed by the Preds, and lost games 3 and 4 decisively. Watching these games, you can tell that Nashville is gaining not just obvious momentum, but tremendous confidence playing against the #1 overall team. They know now that there is nothing to be afraid of...in fact, we believe that the Wings are getting very nervous at this point. They cannot keep up with the Preds...they are having circles skated around them by a young, hungry team. Detroit's old age is showing, and now they have a goalie switch, going from Legace to Joseph. Meanwhile Vokoun is looking like last years Giguere, who last Spring shut down the highly favored Wings with the Ducks. We will happily go against the public tonight...
Calgary +115....Once again here is a situation where we would take either club at +110 or better. We are happy getting the team with the better goaltender also, with record setter Kiprusoff coming off a shutout against backup Hedberg, who looked a little shaky in his first playoff start. Dan Cloutier is reported out for the first round.....and having picked the Flames to win this series, we don't expect to see him before next October.....
