From: Tom Mitchell,
Rights and Clearances Director
Key Play Productions, Inc.
www.BigGreenMachine.net
We are concerned that you are ILLEGALLY posting the plays of Sean Michaels, Michael Cannon, Chris Jordan, Chuck Franklin, Rob House, and the Sports Gambling Hotline daily in the BettorsChat forum board.
You should be aware that your ISP address - which is unique - is logged at the majority of online forums, and also at our site (www.BigGreenMachine.net) as well. If we get a confirmation they are the same, we will pursue legal action because you doing so without the permission of Key Play Productions, Inc., the owner of www.BigGreenMachine.net and all handicappers' websites advertised within.
If confirmation is received, be forewarned you are in DIRECT VIOLATION of our policy published clearly on our site, which states in part:
All information contained on or within the www.BigGreenMachine.net site cannot be reproduced in whole or in part in any manner – either in print or electronically via the Internet (including but not limited to other sites, newsgroups, posting boards and forums, etc.) – without the written prior consent of the Key Play Productions, Inc.
Permission was not sought, nor was it granted.
On Wednesday, April 14th, your most recent post at Bettorschat.com listed the plays of every handicapper or sports service advertised at www.BigGreenMachine.net, which is owned by Key Play Productions, Inc. Ironically, on the same day, April 14th, we ran a $22.95 Handicapper's Alert special in which a buyer got access to the plays of all six handicappers. How ironic.
As we ask all customers suspected of such violations, would you appreciate your credit card information being posted by us on chat boards across the country? Of course not. Thus, we expect the same common courtesy in return.
Are others posting the selections of services and handicappers? Absolutely. Do those services and handicappers have a clearly defined legal policy prohibiting such postings? We don't know and we don't care. Our company, Key Play Productions, Inc., does, and if you are posting the aforementioned information, you would be in DIRECT VIOLATION of our policy.
As you may be aware, the courts have been very sympathetic toward record companies who are aggressively pursuing legal action against consumers who are illegally swapping music on line. We believe their successes, and continuing pursuit of violators, will make our industry's pursuit of alleged violators equally successful.
Regards,
Tom Mitchell,

laugh at those fools. that court talk is bullshit b/c courts don't want to hear that people were posting their illegal gambling picks. i'd write them an email back telling them to blow you. they suck anyways. ask them if they want you to join so they can actually pick a winner.

What a joke!
I would love to see any sports service try to sue someone (and be successful) for posting its picks.
Wayne Root tried and failed.
Lets face it folks, other than in Nevada, sports gambling is illegal.
Thus, any judge would laugh/throw out at any service trying to sue over an activity which is illegal to begin with.
Posting names of teams (the picks) has already been deemed to be NOT illegal.
If you want to say that posting picks is illegal, then any customer who has used a service and lost and then who has seen the service lie about its records should also be able to sue the service in return;I wonder what service would say about that.
The point is that both scenarios described above are absurd, because as stated before gambling is illegal to begin with.
If there are any attorneys out there, I ask them to tell us on what basis a lawsuit could be made by a handicapping service if someone posts their picks for nothing.
I can almost see the judge meeting with the service and its attorney in chambers and asking "Who do you guys like tonight anyways?"
In all honesty I feel a service certainly has the right to try to make money by selling its picks, but has to operate within the context that until/if such time as law is changed regarding the legality of gambling, anyone has the right to obtain and post its plays.Last edited by savage1; 04-15-2004, 11:28 AM.

A Great Service :
it would be if it did indeed where to come across on its threats anyway . Then one could buy decent books (and read them) with the money saved and actually learn how to do this on thier own .
Also I wish they would publish everyones credit-card information ...... I could have fun with that, so not only would I be amused but also they would be pissed and put a stop to this type madness anyways

NSA FREEBIE
Their freebie hit yesterday (MLB MIN OVER 9.5).
Free Winners for Thursday, April 15
MLB BASEBALL
Oakland @ Texas
Pick: Texas +105
Time: 2:05 PM EST
Today the National Sports Advisors look for Texas to win as +105 underdogs, when they matchup with Oakland today.
Jermaine Dye is enjoying being healthy -- for a change. He'll look to continue his strong start to the season when the Oakland Athletics try to complete a three-game sweep of the Texas Rangers at the Ballpark in Arlington.
Dye was limited to 65 games last season after extended stays on the disabled list for torn cartilage in his right knee and then a separated right shoulder. His .172 average was the lowest in the majors for a player with 200 at-bats, and a franchise worst. Dye has played more than 100 games in just one of the previous four seasons due to various injuries.
But 2004 has seen Dye rediscover the form that made him one of the majors' most productive hitters from 1999-2000, when he drove in 237 runs. On Wednesday, he homered twice to drive in four runs, extending his season-opening hitting streak to eight games, as the A's powered past the Rangers 9-4.
Oakland has won four of five against Texas this season, and six of its first eight overall.
The Rangers have dropped three of four since a three-game winning streak, which included the finale of a three-game set in Oakland on April 7 -- their lone win against the A's this year.Oh, this is the worst-looking hat I ever saw. What, when you buy a hat like this I bet you get a free bowl of soup, huh? Oh, it looks good on you though.
