    CBB tourney picks (NIT & NCAA):

    Record: (76-40-1).........includes all posted college hoop picks starting on Sat., 2-14-04 and ending at the conclusion of the regular CBB season on Sun., 3-14-04. This record does not include any of my NCAA or NIT tournament picks.

    **I wager my "regular bets" at my usual wager amount.
    **I wager my "best bets" at 1 1/2 times my usual wager amount.
    **My usual wager amount is 2.5% of my total bankroll.
    **All of my picks are "regular bets" unless noted: "BEST BET."

    TUESDAY, 3-16-04........NIT tournament: (two regular bets)


    1) 8PM/CST -- NEBRASKA (+1 1/2) over creighton [WIN]
    --I suggest buying a half point here up to (+2).

    2) 9PM/CST -- MISSOURI (+3) over michigan [WIN]

        1) 6pm/cst -- GEORGE MASON (-2) over tennessee [WIN]
        --I suggest buying a half point here down to (-1 1/2).

        2) 7pm/cst -- AUSTIN PEAY (-6) over belmont [PUSH]

        3) 8:30pm/cst -- BOISE ST. (-6 1/2) over unlv [WIN]

            Will you be able to have some plays posted on 3-18-04 by 6:00am? the reason I ask is that I must leave for work by 6:15am and would like place some plays before I leave. I'm on B.C -1. Good Luck! That is EST time.

              THURSDAY, 3-18-04.......NCAA tournament: (three regular bets and one best bet)


              1) 1:30PM/CST -- ALABAMA (-2) over s. illinois [LOSS]
              -- if line goes up to (-2 1/2) then I suggest buying a half point back down to (-2).

              2) 6:30PM/CST -- MICHIGAN STATE (-2) over nevada [LOSS]
              --I suggest buying a half point down to (-1 1/2).

              3) 6:20PM/CST -- **TEXAS** (-11 1/2) over princeton [WIN]
              **BEST BET**

              4) 9:00PM/CST -- GONZAGA (-18 or -18 1/2 or 19) over valparaiso [WIN]

              5) CHECK BACK AT 12:00PM/CST (on Thursday) FOR A POSSIBLE 5TH PLAY THAT WILL GO ON THE NIGHT CARD............< I have no 5th play for Thursday >

              2) Please note: I upgraded Friday's Boston College pick to a "best bet."
              That play can be found in the first post of this thread.

                          SATURDAY, 3-20-04......NCAA tournament: (one best bet and two regular bets).


                          1) (TOTAL) NORTH CAROLINA/ TEXAS -- "OVER 151" -- *BEST BET*
                          *high scoring game* [WIN]

                          2) 2:20pm/cst -- GONZAGA (-7 1/2 or -8) over nevada [LOSS]

                          3) 7:00pm/cst -- U.CONN (-10 1/2 or -11) over depaul [WIN]

                          NOTE: There are split lines across the board on the 2 side plays today. I suggest shopping around and trying to get the best line
                          possible. A half point sometimes means a win instead of a push.

                            I'm very happy to walk away w/ a (2-1) record for Sat., 3-20-04!

                            It was especially nice to win that North Carolina/ Texas "over" pick!.........I really liked that game and that's why I made it a "best bet."
                            But (of course) it went right down to the wire.
                            The "over" was 151 and both teams scored 83 points by halftime.
                            It was looking pretty good at that point but in the 2nd half the scoring slowed down and both teams had more than one scoring drought.
                            Therefore, I think it was fortunate that both teams even scored the 70 points that they did in the 2nd half.
                            It was just enough as 153 points got me the win. I watched the end of the game but it was certainly not easy to watch!
                            Anyway, I got the 'W' and I hope some of you cashed in with me on this game too!

                            --FINAL SCORE: ..............Texas 78
                            ......................... North Carolina 75
