You are very welcome and i do appreciate the words...What makes it very tough sometimes is that i do a lot of middles and i use 3 locals...So getting and comparing the lines takes some time...but thanks again my friend..this is what it is all about...sharing to beat the bastage!!!!
Larry Ness LSU
Have things gone from bad to worse for LSU? The Tigers were riding pretty high when they won at Florida on 2/14, 73-70 but they've since gone 0-4 SU & ATS and now sit at 17-8 overall and just 7-7 in the SEC. Worse still, they've lost their leading scorer and rebounder in Jamie Lloreda (16.9/11.6) for the year! All that said, they do have a good chance tonight to snap out of that losing streak as the Rebels limp into Baton Rogue 1-6 SU & ATS since Feb 1. The Rebels have two excellent forwards in Justin Reed (19.1/7.7) and Aaron Harper (16.8/5.1) but LITTLE ELSE. On the SEC road this year Ole Miss is 0-7 SU and 1-6 ATS and LSU ought to GET HEALTHY here, even without Lloreda. Lay the points!
Joe Gavazzi Vanderbilt
VANDERBILT (-11) over Tennessee by 18 Hope you found a -13- with Miss State last night. Most didn't, thus we're calling it a "push" maintaining our record of 13-7 (65%) on comps on this site. In tonight's SEC matchup, we stay with our proven theme using the motivation of revenge and home/road dichotomy. The Vols have been horrible on the road this year, recording a mark of 0-7 SU ATS away vs. SEC, losing every game by 11+ points. Vanderbilt ahs been solid at home at 14-2 SU. Coming off a rare home loss Saturday night to #4 Miss State and playing in their LHG, be assured the Commodores will be well motivated, especially with their knowledge of an earlier 66-76 loss in Knoxville. Coach Stallings now 59-30 ATS off a loss at Vandy and Illinois State. Lay it with Vandy tonight. As solid as this winer is, it will pale in comparison to The 2004 College GOY Winner, a single digit favorite who will win the game by 20+ points.
Mike Rose Rutgers
While very impressed by the turnaround HC Seth Greenberg has had on the Hokies program, we're going to have to fade them in this spot. Rutgers needs to win their last 2 games of the regular season, and put forth a solid effort in the Big East tourney to have any shot of getting an invite to the dance. The Scarlet Knights have been very tough in the "RAC" this year, but they've been downright awful on the road. A special hello to the good folks at ***********.com VTECH is off a lackluster win vs. an undermanned WV squad on Saturday. They didn't play all too well in that one at all, and we were lucky to cash our tickets on the Hokies that afternoon. Anyway, I really like the way Rutgers matches up with this team. Each squad has a stud in Laminzana & Matthews, but the Scarlet Knights really pounded these guys a few weeks ago. I look for the team with more to lose tonight to step to the forefront. VTECH will be even better next year, but Rutgers has been working towards an invite to the dance for too long to end tonight.
LT Profits Miami Ohio
This seems like a lot of points to be giving to a 15-10 Miami Ohio team that has handled itself well on the road this year. In fact, the Redhawks are 6-6 S/U away from home on the season, and they have scored almost as many points as they have allowed on the road, losing by an average of just 0.6 points. This is also an opportunity for them to get back on track and snap their mini 2-game losing streak. While they are 1-3 both S/U and ATS at Kent State since the 2000-2001 season, those all came vs. much stronger Kent teams than this year. Even with that talent disadvantage, Miami Ohio was outscored by an average of 7.3 points over those 4 games, a margin that would be good enough to cover this inflated number. Yes, Kent is 19-5 S/U overall, including 11-1 here at home. However, they are just 6-10 ATS vs. conference opponents despite their 13-3 S/U conference mark, and they are only winning those games by an average of 6.8 points. They are also heading in the wrong direction, going 1-4 ATS in their last 5 conference affairs, including a surprising upset loss at Akron on Sunday.
Marc Lawrence Atlanta Hawks
Atlanta, like most of the NBA, has had little difficulty with Cleveland over the years. The Hawks are 19-6 SU and ATS against the Cadavers. Atlanta is also 11-2-1 ATS as a dog with Same Season Revenge this year. Cleveland is just 1-4 ATS as favorites of more than four points so far this season. One thing we've learned in our nearly 30 years of handicapping NBA games: Steer clear of sub .500 favorites of this size during the second half of the season. It can only lead to bankbreak.
Mike Rose Chicago Bulls
Da Bulls really shocked many their last time out by taking it to a surging Cavaliers squad to win their 2nd in a row. Chicago has gotten some solid play form rookie PG Kirk Hinrich & 3rd year C Eddie Curry. These 2 guys have really stepped out to the forefront to become the Bulls go to guys. Chicago has gotten a lot healthier in the last few weeks, and their size has really given teams some major problems. They're very big out there with Davis, Chandler, and Curry and they've been able to utilize that size to their advantage of late. New Orleans has been an enigma all season long. They look like world beaters one game, and then have to fight back down 20 to go to OT with Washington only to eventually lose. The Bulls have already won 2 of 3 vs. the Hornets this year. They're a respectable 25-21 aTS on the road . +.500 divisional opponents, while the Hornets are a sad 9-13 ATS combined at home vs. sub. 500 divisional opponents. This sure is a juicy number, so we'll grab the points and hope the Bulls continue their recent winning form.
Cincinnati Kid Indiana Pacers
Pacers take on the Clipps tonight who are 0-9 ATS playing at home off a road loss and allowed their foe to shoot 50% or better in the game. Pacers 5-0 ATS in games before facing the Jazz?4-0 ATS as RF's of late
Alex Smart Vancouver Canucks
The Canucks come into this game with a 3-1-1 money line record in the last five meetings against Colorado and have won two straight in the Mile High City? and 3 of their L4 SU & ATS. The Avs on the other hand continue to flounder of late and are 4-11 ATS L15 overall and a bankroll draining 2-8 ATS L10 at home. The Canucks are back to their usual winning ways after suffering through a mid season slump and are a bankroll expanding 3-0 ATS L3 and 12-5 ATS L17 on the road. With injuries continuing to hinder the Avs fortunes another loss looks like a very likely scenario against what is a rejuvenated Canucks squad. Note the Canucks are 6-0 last 6 meetings vs NHL top 10 teams. Take the Puck line.
