Homer i don't even hate all services. Hey it's how alot of people make a living but at least be legit. Show your record which JIPSTER NEVER has, and put a little effort into your business.

People like buzz and many others post here ALL THE TIME. Why doesn't anyone bother them? Cause everything they do is done professionally Win or Lose and they don't come here after a 1-12 run asking for money.

A Ya fucken hoo email is how you reach him.........Oh my god you can't be fucken serious!"

The last time i saw him give a reason for a pick was in Baseball when he said the pitcher for i think Houston was going to have alot of friends and family there..........No shit that's a news flash!

            Guess what they lost.

Me and BC also went threw every thread from August through november and it was bad, i mean real bad (His record). It's obvious why he NEVER posts one.

Sorry Homey but i'm not sitting back anymore while his ego gets stroked by "Newbies" that don't know why alot of us don't like his style!

Good Luck Tonight Brother! :D :D

It's like I said around two or three months ago. I was talking about the same record in Baseball. People backed the tipster against me. You know what side I'm on.

We all helped and backed him back then on that baseball slide. The real bad part is WIZ was his main supporter. Look now, Tipster is going after him.

And now were the devil to him because he as been winning at probably around a 50% or a little higher.

                      Friends
I missed the posting here but finally found it.

I think Sports-Plays wrote this posting for me, too....
                      Let me explain my opinion:

I do not HATE services. I wrote already that I know some guys who run services and these guys ar 110% legit.
They refund their clients and they are not stealing or lying.
But you have to admit that this is not a very common thing among sports services. I can name you at least 20 services that are nothing but bullsh't. And the sad thing is that most of the services fall into that category. Maybe it is because gambling is carrying this bad reputation, I do not know. But this and religion are the only business where you will find 9 crooks in a crowd of 10 people.
And those guys like Root, Feist and god knows who else are just marketing pro's. I do not say they are dumb, because they aren't.
They are f'cking smart and this is what makes them so dangerous for the uneducated customers.
When people are greedy they do not see the gun in their face.
And Root, Feist etc are just sucking blood out of such guys, nothing else. They have no honor and the are no handicappers.
I'm sorry, but that is the truth. I would not trust one of them even if they were the last people on earth. Even if I would need a billion bucks and there is a 50:50 chance and Root is coming to me and says: Here is my lock of the year....I would never bet on this.

                      Any questions?

                      GB
You need people like me so you can point your fingers and say Hey there's the bad guy! So, what does that make to you. Good guys? Don't kid yourselves. You're no better'n me. You just know how to hide and how to lie. Me, I do not have that problem. I always tell the truth, even when I lie!

This is a draft of an article that is going to be released soon for publication but it is a perfect fit for this thread.

Sports Service Scams and How To Avoid Them
                        By Insider Edge Sports

The purpose of this article is not to bash any particular sports service but to promote some of the better and more honest ones that are available. There are plenty of unethical sports services and it’s too bad since it really takes away from the hard working, honest services that exist. We’ll just help you to avoid those as to try and get them out of the industry so the quality services can flourish. Sports services come and go all the time as the Internet is littered with countless people claiming to have all the answers in making you a huge winner in the world of sports wagering. A long time ago, we were burned countless times from the so-called gurus who claimed to have winner after winner after winner. More often than not, it was loser after loser after loser. These people talked a good game, but when it came right down to it, they couldn’t produce a winner the day after a game. The boiler room scams are still around but they aren’t as widespread as in the past. With the Internet providing the greatest means of communication, sports betters need to be leery in how they go about picking a service. We’ll go over some of the do’s and don’ts when looking into a service.

A very common myth in this industry is that sports services are in it for one simple thing – getting people’s money. That is the situation in many cases but for the most part it is just a myth. Countless times we have seen the phrase “If your picks are so good, just bet them yourselves and stop trying to scam people out of their money”. I can speak for many services and say that we do bet the games. The purpose of putting them out there for others is to let them share in the wealth. Most sports bettors are 9-5 people who simply don’t have the time to handicap games themselves. For them to blindly bet on games is foolish and that is why they seek help. Sports services are a lot like stockbrokers – people invest in their expertise and opinions. The problem for most people is that they can’t find a legitimate service to do it for them. Too bad the sports service industry doesn’t have an equivalent Series 7exam to keep the imposters out. Before signing up with a service, ask how they handicap their games and what sort of strategies they use. Most of the scam artists don’t know the first thing about sports, let alone how to handicap them.

When searching out sports services, here are few things to keep your eyes on.

                        Handicappers vs. Salesmen

There are many great handicappers out there but at the same time, there are many great salesmen who can make themselves look like great handicappers. The problem is, they don’t even know how to spell the word handicap. These are the typical boiler room people who do nothing but sit on the phone and make calls all day long. They give out one side to some people and the opposite side to the other people. This way half of the customers are happy and will be suckered in for more. Double-siding is one of the oldest tricks in the book and one of the most effective for these scamming services. These people advertise all over the media outlets giving out an 800 number to call for their free plays. Once you call, your number gets registered into their system and you are screwed as they will relentlessly keep calling back trying to sell you more of their worthless picks. The infamous Stu Feiner says that if somebody calls his 800 number and doesn't sign up, "We'll call him every day for a couple months, because eventually they'll change their minds”. Real classy outfits.

                        The Dreaded “L” Word

When you see a service advertising a “LOCK”, avoid them at all costs. Smart bettors know there is no such thing as a lock and never will be. This is simply a ploy to get people to sign up and if they get lucky and win, they unfortunately have sucked people in for a while to get more money. The problem is, the more money people invest in them, the more they will lose in the long run. The words lock, sure thing, blowout winner and the like should never be part of any legitimate sports services’ vocabulary. If locks were available, sportsbooks wouldn’t be in business.

                        Money Management

Good services use smart money management techniques, never putting too much on any one particular game. We came across a line from another service that will remain nameless that made us chuckle but at the same time, angered us because of the absolute absurdity of it. “We want you PUT every DOLLAR YOU HAVE ON our COLLEGE BASKETBALL SUPER PLAY WINNER.” Are you kidding? When you see this, turn around and don’t even think about investing with them.

                        False Records

You often see services out there claiming to hit 70% winners’ lifetime. While the chances of doing this are next to impossible, there is the minute chance of a good run in the short term but not long term. If you see this, call them out. Ask where you can see this 70% documented record. I can assure you that you will be ignored or given false information on a sports monitor that doesn’t even exist. There is a service that claims to have hit 81% of their top releases over the past 8 years. Once again, are you kidding? That is absolutely ridiculous and it should raise a flag immediately. It’s unfortunate for the upstanding services that this type of stuff goes on and even worse, unsuspecting people actually fall for it.

                        Documentation, Documentation, Documentation

Ask a service for documented results. If a services claims to be as good as they really are, they will gladly show you the documentation to back it up. There are a number of free and paid monitors out there that document records for services. Services who aren’t documented usually have the same excuse – they don’t trust outside monitors. What’s not to trust? You put your plays in and they spit out the results. Services say that they hear of monitors being paid off by other services to falsify records to make them look better. While this practice may exist in rare occasions, it doesn’t happen with legit monitors. Besides, the point of monitoring a record is to have their own record monitored. As long as their record is correct, they should have nothing to worry about. And if a service says they don’t have time to put their plays into a monitor, don’t believe it. It takes about 5 seconds to put in a play to be monitored. If a service is as good as they say they are, they would want a third party keeping track of their record for all to see.

                        More Documentation

While monitoring services provide the best proof of how a service is doing, there are other ways to investigate. Sponsored contests and leagues are good ways to see if a service is legitimate or not. One of the top contests out there is the Las Vegas Hilton Contest. This NFL contest brings out some of the best cappers in the world to take home the $150,000 top prize. One of the most trusted services, Kiki Sports, had a top 5 finish in the 2002 contest. Not only did Kiki have their plays for all to see, they reaped the benefits from such a high finish. A lot of services claim to be the best but only a select few can actually back it up. Contests like this exist all over the place and the majority of them are legitimate so ask the service if they are involved in any. If you are ignored, you know why.

                        Plays of the Century

We aren’t an advocate of the popular promos such as Game of the Month, Game of the Year, etc. for the simple reason that that there might be a better game in the future. Playing an NFL Game of the Year in October takes away the possibility of a stronger play later on. So many bogus outfits play these over and over again simply to use it as a promotional tool to suck people in. There are many legit services that use these and there is nothing wrong with that because they are stronger plays than normal. Be weary of services that have a Game of the…something everyday of the week. These are the scam. When you see the SEC Wednesday Underdog Game of the Year, avoid it. It’s nothing more than a marketing ploy and chances are the game is no stronger than any other game available. If you find a legitimate service who puts out Games of the Year and so on, it’s definitely worth looking at because they probably know what they are talking about.

                        Inside Information

This is one of the most common maneuvers scammers will fill your head with. Inside information does not exist plain and simple. There are the few cases where somebody actually knows someone that is part of a team or knows someone on the team and any information they get can be used in handicapping. Having inside information on games everyday is ludicrous. Jeff Allen Sports claimed to have "200 trainers on our payroll". Whatever information is available on a game is available to everyone who has a computer and an Internet connection. Suspensions, injuries and other important news items are made public and not just given to a handicapping service. Those Vegas sources they claim they have sound good but are as fictitious as they come. Also look out for made up names that services like to say they have working for them. Aliases such as Frankie the Fixer and Tony Teaser are either names they gave themselves or figments of their imagination. If a service refuses to give their real name, or the real names of their handicappers run away and fast.

                        Cost

Most services provide their plays at a very affordable cost. What you need to look out for are the ones that sell their picks for ridiculous amounts of money. Their philosophy is that the higher they charge, the more valuable people will think their selections are worth. Their picks are no better than anyone else’s and in most cases, they are much worse. Many scamdicappers will provide picks at a reasonable cost but they want to charge you more for their so-called “Bigger Games”. These salesmen talk a good game and they get a lot of unsuspecting customers to pony up more money for their guaranteed games. It’s a shame because not only will they lose the cost of the game but also a ton of money that they bet because the guaranteed game is guaranteed to most likely lose. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

We have hopefully shed some light on a lot of the things to looks out for when selecting a sports service. Many people think that all services are scam artists and that is the furthest thing from the truth. There are many, many legitimate services out there but unfortunately, they are outnumbered by the scammers who don’t even know a thing about sports. The sports service industry will always have a dark cloud over it because of these people and it’s unfortunate. There are plenty of good people around – it’s up to you to go out and find them.

                          Insider Edge:

Nice article, but I would get rid of the endorsement for Kiki Sports. They must have gotten lucky in the Hilton contest when they finished near the top.

Kiki Sports record at Trackpicks for past 365 days:

                          562 Wins
                          542 Losses
                          Units Lost: -231.70.

That is one of the worst records at Trackpicks. Kiki Sports is down in every game except the NBA this year. It looks like they had one good year in the NFL and then hit less than 50% for 2003.

I liked the rest of the article except for the part about Kiki Sports. Additionally, I notice you have hit about 55% at procappers and are up. Good job.

                            OK ASSHOLES

                            Look you service fuckers .....

Nobody hates you. Well, most of you aren't hated by most of us. But this shit about, "....anybody who pays for a service that CANNOT be guaranteed...." is the biggest joke in the world.

It's real simple. You guarantee the selection. If it loses, then the customer doesn't pay. It's that simple. Just because you can't hit at over a 60% clip doesn't mean you can't guarantee certain plays. Tipster guaranteed a pick last week, if I'm not mistaken. Then your money depends on how well YOU do as a handicapper, not just as a salesman.

It is funny for you guys to be standing up for each other. Yesterday when I posted that thread with the guy going to get that service scammer you guys took it so personally. It was funny and you know it. Just pretend the scammer was, say, a politician that decided to kick Iraq's ass. I'm sure that'll get you back on the right track.

Please don't question my record or I will leave!!!!
