I dont think Laurie will change things with Reid. Laurie likes the $$$$$ and they are drawing heavy, I also doubt that Reid would relinquish the role of GM, that goes against everything that makes him such a stubborn knucklehead in the first place.

What problems that the receivers have is related to the BIG BOY, the fact that the Birds dont have a single big name fast receiver when the Rams let 2 or 3 of their players go over the last two years..that is a joke. Speed was there, Reid didnt like the players and the Birds didnt even try to get one. So the puck goes back on the BIG BOY again. And yeah McNubb makes some good passes, but how many long passes were there that are on the mark? Defenses know to crowd the line, and the 10 yards and in area as the Birds throw longer than 10 yards like 2 times out of 30 passes. It isnt hard to guard these slow receivers..it isnt.

I really like the Birds and the people who love them in Philly but my stance still is that Reid has no business being a GM and little business being a coach. Since when do QB coaches make a jump to head coach with NO big experience?? They do when an owner wants a safe play on a cheap coach. Reminds me of one Mr.Bidwell in AZ here..until Green hiring that is..

I don't believe his comments on McNabb were racist. He simply said "Donovan McNabb was overrated because the media wanted to see a black quarterback succeed. " What is racist about that comment? He didn't say McNabb is a lousy black QB. At the time McNabb had one of the worst QB ratings in football. He had come off some very bad performances. In the games following he was still very bad.

IMO McNabb is an average NFL QB. It has nothing to do with his skin color. McNabb's career QB rating 79. McNair's 84, Brad Johnson 84, Favre 87, Garcia 88, Gannon 84, Brunell 85, Culpepper 88. With the exception of Favre none of the other mentioned QBs would be called super stars. The media doesn't mention Culpepper in the same breath with McNabb.

You can't blame that loss on McNabb. It was a team effort. The recievers suck. The defense allows to much yardage on the ground. However, GREAT QBs find a way to win. McNabb can't and won't.

Stop crying because you lost your money on the game. You sit here crying you lost your money yesterday and want to defend rush--ass hole. If you can't stand to lose in the wide-wide world of sports then get out of the game and join your racist buddys.

Whether Rush is racist or not, I do not know. Nonetheless, the reason that McNabb is overrated has nothing to do with his race. McNabb is overrated because he is generally not an accurate passer. Example: For the first three quarters of GB game last week he could not hit the broad side of a barn, but people will only remember the fourth quarter. In the games that he is accurate, he is almost unbeatable because he can then run, throw, and do just about anything else on the field. The playoff game against the Bears a few years back comes to mind. The Monday Night game against the Dolphins this year also comes to mind. If Rush would have said that McNabb needs to drastically improve his accuracy if he ever wants to be a great QB and win Super Bowls, he would have been right. I really do not think anyone (especially the media) cares what color McNabb is. It is just that people see his best games and think he plays that way every week when he actually does not play that well in many if not most weeks.

if i was a racist or if most of my friends were racist i would not have bet on philly. only reason i did bet on philly was because psychic sports had 5 star major my pick was carolina i changed it because of that reason.

I just love thw knee jerk reactions when a team loses there must be a scapegoat. Carolina quite simply was the better TEAM. I am sure there are many who would like to see their team go to the NFC championshig game. Lets blame Reid, Mcnabb is the the reaction now. Mcnabbs receivers were intimidated, short armed passes, ran the wrong routes, dropped balls. On defense Vincent obviously was not himself, compound this with a starting lb out and best defensive lineman out it is a credit to just how far this team came. Lets give Carolina credit here instead of looking for scapegoat on the Philly team. Learn the game.

What is being said is McNabb is NO GOOD! He stunk yesterday, last week, last month, last year on into his entire NFL career.
