  • Russ Limbaugh was Right :

He is over rated and I dont think he can take them to the promise land now or in the future .

Andy Reid better take a long hard look at his position and his team because its this ladys thinkin that this chemistry reminds her of a team that resides in Tampa Fla. , and a major shake-up is in order .

Or he faces the devil by himself when next season arrives !

Reid better start by getting some WRs that can actually catch the football. That was comical today! I hear Larry Fitzgerald might come out for the draft this year - Reid should do what he can to try to trade up. That would be a good start. Keyshawn and TO are also available but why mess up your chemistry with those jackasses.

      MMM

We considered this as our victory chant as time was winding down but instead went with the old reliable...

      "Cry Eagles... Cry...
      No Superbowl for thee...
      Cry Eagles... Cry...
      No Superbowl times three..."

      It was truly glorious.

I was going to post this very issue last night. I didn't because I was afraid I'd get flamed. I saw the show when Rush made his comments. I agreed with him 100%. At the time I knew he was going to take lots of heat. McNabb is a RB who throws passes. He is a average NFL QB. His accuracy is terrible.

The only thing Limbaugh could educate anyone on is what
Denny's parking lot are good for buying illegal drugs ....

Limbaugh is a huge racist ... that has been proven with numerous
comments on air he has made slamming the African-American
              race

McBabb has been to the Pro Bowl 3 times in his 5 yr career ..
has led the Eagles to 3 consecutive Championship games with literally zero help in his wideout corps

Let's hold off on the "McNabb is Over-Rated" comments ... seems to me the same crowd was shouting the same things about a # 7 in the city of Denver not too long ago

Limbaugh is the Main reason why this country is so divided ... the man has an ego bigger than his fat ass and is basically a man with very limited intellectual skills who lives off lives and mocking folks on the air who disagree with his very limited and distorted views on life

                doc

With all due respect there's no way in hell ANYONE can compare McNabb with Elway. I do agree McNabb's receivers don't get open and drop many passes.

At the time I didn't think Rush's comments were racist. I still don't.

that racist craqp is all bullcrap.
how many times do white people get slammed for making a comment about black people and yes black peopel because i do not know a single black person and believe i live among about 50 percent of the 15 percent of the population that they are in america which is less of a percentage here in america than there are mexican and spanish speaking people in america. but yet they get all the publicicity and people to bend over backwards for them.
and yet i have yet to meet one of them from africa or any of there parents. so why are they african american?
your not you are american . hell most of them are more american than i am cause my father was 100 percent german.
but you see white people get slammed and fired for making a racist comment or they say but i see as most of the comments is that damn truth just the truth hurts and but when a black person says something racist what happens to them not a damn thing its talked about a few days then wiped under the dirt just like what dusty baker said you know if a white guy would have said that he woulda been fired that day.

but like i was told by one of those african americans "black people cant be a racist only white people can"

well withj that kind of thinking nothing will ever change.

good luck people maybe need to stop begging or asking for help and do something for yourself and stop looking to blame someone for your pitfalls and bad doings and straighten up and get a life and go earn what you want and quite crying why it is so roguh on you and earn something.
and if this offends someone i am sorry, but i am also very tired of white people saying things and getting fired and cursed for what they say and the black man can say whatever he wants to and gets away with it.
and mcnabb is not a great quarterback not even close he is an outstanding athlete, i repeat athlete and that is all.

McNabb has been to 3 pro bowls because with the exception of Favre the NFC hasn't had a super star QB. There's a handful of QBs in the AFC that I'd take over McNabb.

IMO this isn't a black and white issue. I'd take McNair over Mcnabb anytime.

                      Mmm,

                      Here are my thoughts.

I think the blame goes squarely on the BIG guy, and I know that McNubb is much larger this year than last..he had to put on 20 lbs this last year. The BIG guy is Andy Reid.

This is the third straight time that he pulled up lame in the big game and yet again the team looked unprepared offensively. The Beagles brand of football was in vogue 5-7 yrs ago with the little pass and RAC, then running to set up the little passes. I think the entire scheme is wrong and outdated and easily defended. I agree that McNubb looks unmotivated and disappointed again, but I think in part that game from being forced to be a pocket QB.

When Donny came into the league his first year of real play he was dynamic..mobile and active, kinda like Vick now, but with zero accuracy to his passes..maybe more like Stewart..but I was living in PA that off season and it almost seemed like Reids mission was to force Donny into being a pocket guy.

Reid has the mentality that players do it his way or no way and it shows in personel decisions, his GM decision 2 yrs ago, the offensive schemes, the lack of bringing in good free agent talent..

What has he done to deserve being head coach and especially GM? Laurie was happy that the Beagles were drawing and winning and so he has let Andy do whatever he wants..and IMO Reid will lose his job some time..hopefully soon and then go to another team and stink it up and will be a washed up BIG guy that nobody remembers. Being QB coach for Favre does not qualify you to be a head coach and especially GM.

What did it for me and this was 2 yrs ago..in the local press and radio JP was calling for some speed receivers..some guys that can get down field..and Reid did nothing then and did nothing the next year and the players on defense that were so good, he let them go rather than paying them and keeping them. This coach is way too cocky, has way too much power and the Beagles cannot and will not win with him being coach.

Oh yeah and McNubb needs to lose 25 lbs, take some accuracy classes and quit wearing that thing on his head..I want the McNubb-FRO QB back..not this guy.

In the Bowl I love NE.. their defense is going to eat up Carolina..no way they run or pass on this defense.

Poor Philly fans..I really feel for ya..until you get that 1 TON big boy out of there..no SuperBowl for you....

McNabb is still a superbowl winning QB!!!!

The EAgles need some real receivers. Not these third teir receivers. Also I agree McNabb needs to lose some wait and just focus on accuracy. Also him and his receivers need to practice more together in the off-season. But he still reminds me of an early McNair. The McNair who could not throw a good pass for sh1t, the guy who people wanted O'Donnel to replace him. But please don't call him Kordell Stewart no one deserves that, no one.

                          wallstreet :

True and I want to point out that never was my intention saddle-up with ole Russ or his views just to point out that his qoute on this fella seems to be right on . Agreed that Reid has not molded him in a perfect enviroment to succeed and you estimation of a coach / GM has the pectentages hanging with you hands down. I started this thread to show my views of how much the attitude resembles the Tampa Bay club , but dont discount the fact they are starting to look like a club called the Bills , which was the quintessential underachiever of all time.

He ( Reid ) has to take a long hard look at himself and Laurie has to find a GM cause it just doesnt work in todays game.

As always been fun chatting and I hit the mother-lode at Hollywood last nite and have been doing quite well as of late with my pups. Speaking of them , my heating bills are starting to hurt more than the vig on my saturation style capping but I got to keep my babys warm cause they got me by the first troll at the bridge and Im sure they will save me again someday .

Maybe Drug Boy's comments were not racist ...

Facts are that Limbaugh himself is a huge racist and there
                            is no denying that

The pt is this: let's wait until McNabb's career plays out ....

Maybe he is not the greatest qb in the game ... things change
as Warner was the hot name and now has basically disappeared

Again, ya can all McNabb a loser or over-rated ... all I know is that the guy has class and Limbaugh is a drug using, draft dodger who
reflects the ugly side of racism that exsists in this country still today ....

what game were you watching? Mcnabb threw plenty of quality passes...that continually were dropped...NO ONE can overcome those dropped passes...not elway...not unitas...not namath...not montana...not mcnabb...was a game effort by him...and a pitiful effort by the rest of the team...
