Dwyane Wade, Miami - Doub Wed

Wade is suffering from cramps in his left hamstring and has missed the last seven games. He is unlikely to play Wednesday against the Grizzlies.

Raptors C Valanciunus expected to play after DUI

Toronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas is expected to play Wednesday night against the Philadelphia 76ers, two days after being charged with drunk driving.

The 21-year-old sophomore was not made available to the media after the Raptors practice Tuesday, but general manager Masai Ujiri confirmed he will be in the lineup.

The 7-footer was arrested Monday in Wasago Beach, Ontario after police say they began investigating a vehicle that went through a drive-thru with open beer bottles visible.

Valanciunas apologized to his teammates, the organization, family and friends in a release. He is averaging 11 points and 8.6 rebounds per game for the playoff-bound Raptors.

      NHL

      Wednesday, April 9

Carey Price, Montreal - Out Wed

Price will be given the day to rest and will not be in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blackhawks.

Sidney Crosby, Pittsburgh - Ques Wed

Crosby is dealing with a minor upper-body injury and did not play Sunday against the Avalanche. He is questionable to return for Wednesday's game against the Red Wings.

Andrew Ladd, Winnipeg - out for season

Ladd will miss the remainder of the season with an undisclosed injury.

Kings top defense makes them best under play

The L.A. Kings have the No.1 ranked defense in the NHL, allowing only 2.1 gpg and when you combine that with their No.24 ranked offense you have the top under play on ice.

The Kings carry a 20-40-19 O/U record, which is eight more unders than any other team. Travelling to Calgary, the Kings (8-17-14 O/U on the road) are appearing to keep the scoresheet unscathed again. In the past 21 meetings between the Kings and Flames have an O/U record of 3-16-2.

Looking for their fourth straight under, the Kings visit Calgary with a puckline of 5.

Habs resting up, will be shorthanded against Blackhawks

With a playoff spot sewn up, the Montreal Canadiens are looking to rest some players Wednesday.

Head coach Michel Terriern announced Tuesday that Carey Price, Andrei Markov and Alexei Emelin will not make the trip to Chicago. That's the Canadiens starting goalie and their top defensive pairing that will be resting when the face the powerhouse Blackhawks.

The Canadiens, winner of seven of their past eight, are almost ensured to play the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round of the playoffs. The Lightning are 4-points behind in the standings, but have a game in hand on the Canadiens.

The Habs (+136) will start Peter Budaj in nets for the clash with Chicago (-147).
