Still very tired and still making a slow recovery guys. The meds are beating him up right now. He still has no use of the hand or arm but as soon as he is able to, he will start rehab on that and hopefully get the use back. They are keeping his blood pressure real low and he needs to avoid any stress right now. I told him to avoid all Cubs games or that could go south in a hurry. hahaha

Spark is feeling a little better guys. He actually was able to drive and take a ride yesterday for the 1st time in a while. The pills still make him feel like shit but hopefully today or tomorrow they will cut down on some of those for him.

Hey guys, Spark finally went home on Thursday. He has a portable defibrillator and heart monitor with him. In about a month he is going to get a permanent one installed in his chest. He is very weak and tired from all of this and all the meds but he is happy to be home. I told him to keep fighting and that we are all still thinking of him.

A portable defibrillator? That is so if his heart goes into an abnormal rhythm that he can be shocked out of it. I'm sitting here thinking if my heart needed to be shocked it would be kinda awkward doing it. Meds can wear you down. I hope that he continues a strong recovery!

Thank You Wayne for all the concern and the words in the opening of this thread. . It feels good to start posting again. Hopefully this hand will get stronger so I will be able to be here more. My arm is back to normal but the hand is being stubborn.
