College football is so bad, there are no teams better...I laugh Texas called the SEC, yeah it was OLE MISS they called to get a win vs a SEC team...The SEC will play nine games soon in conference..so I agree with you on that...do you think its fair LSU HAS TO play Florida every year...while Bama gets Tenn every year...that is a joke to me!!! But my point is I am tired of people dogging SEC schedules, the other schools out there dont want to play us!!!

How can any team in any conference say they are the BEST TEAM in their conference if they havent played EVERYONE ?

Isn't it like that in every Conference now? I'm pretty sure most teams avoid 2-3 teams each year in their Conference when there are 12 or more teams. As long as the system is what it is and 1 loss can end a season, I don't blame them really.

Insidethe8th...it is unrealistic to ask a team to play 11 in-conference games. I'm pretty sure no 12-team conference does that.
And Eliminator, I know you are proud of the SEC and think that they are invincible but A&M is fresh out of the Big 12 and they put a hurting on the SEC this year. Granted, they have a heisman QB but their defense has looked just as physical, if not more so, than most of the teams in the SEC. I agree the SEC has been the cream of the crop for the past 7, 8 years by far but their are some teams out there that can compete with them in any given year. They are few and far between, but again, the SEC isn't invincible.

I never said that I want SEC teams to play every team in their conference. I said that that SHOULDN'T happen because for one it isn't fair (bc they have a ton of high-ranked teams) and all 12-team conferences schedule out-of-conference opponents, so why shouldn't the SEC? Not sure how you got that confused with me saying they need to all play every team in the SEC. My other point was just that you make it sound like the SEC is flawless and no team can be beat. And I like the Longhorns but I don't act like I play on the team or something like you do. You are right though, they won't call the almighty undefeated Tigers who can't be beat by Alabama! Thats why they call them Conferences. The idea behind all of the colleges that want in is to play against the other colleges in that conference.

E all true statements but you left one thing out LSU is not that good this year. Easily could have lost to Ole Miss and Arkansas and already has two losses. With that said if you ask me who the top 10 teams in America are the SEC has 7 of them. I would be surprised if they don't dominate bowl season unless they don't want to play in the games they end up in

First off I will let you know that I have never said that the SEC isn't the best football conference, not a doubt in my mind they have clearly shown that they are.


As far as you saying Louisville won't play you, pick up the phone we will answer...... Well I don't know about LSU but I can promise you we called Georgia, they answered and agreed to play us, then guess what, yeah, they backed out.
