      I have been doing so-so in foots , 5-3 , 3-2 [type days] so nothing to brag about . Thanks for the welcome and I had a wonderful time with the kids and got alot done while there.

      We will start using my old system very soon now because of conference battles gearing up , and it has served me well thru the years , BYU & New Orleans just got back from Hawaii and I expect a bit of jet-lag to show up on them tomorrow so watch them closely .

          Its a tough question you ask , I basically use a system that takes 5 factors into account and then compare them to my rankings for a final break-down . The 5 factors are :

          1) Jeff Sagarin Ratings
          2) Don Best Ratings & Value Index
          3) Millennium Sports Database
          4) Professional Handicappers Ratings
          5) Mike Greenfields Power Rank

          After compiling all thier individual stats I then run them against my own ratings for a final value search and I cap every game thats on the board to discover where the underlays are at .

          To further break this down :

          [ 00.00/ 00.00/ 00.00 ] X [ 00.00/ 00.00/ 00.00 ]
          -- #1------ #2 ---- #3---- X -- #1 ---- #2 ---- #3 ---

          As you can see the #1`s are grouped , the #2`s are grouped , and the #3`s are grouped and compared to eachother for team power ratings and this is basically how I cap them . I do have a tried and true system that I developed years ago with my late husband that does very well starting at this time of year ( conference games ) but it is also used with the other factors .

          I hope this answers your questions and wish I could take the time to go in depth , but it would take quite awhile to explain in total detail.

              I quess what I"m asking is for you to do all the work and share it with us.

                mmm

                I been doing somewhat,half as much as you on power ratings,but I been using ratings from a guy from Chiago,Dunkel,Massey,guy from the west and 1 or 2 more and taking the avj,making finial decison based on plays from 2 to 4 people{{a couple of other things}} at other mess boards{{this worked last year}}

                I be glad to see you back,glad to see you had a good time

In this post the updates are off the greeks board and true lines and not my guesses as above .
