Sunday's six-pack
-- Eldrick Woods withdrew from PLAYERS Championship on the 7th hole Sunday morning, with an apparent neck injury.
-- Red Sox are 1-8 vs Bronx/Tampa Bay, outscored 64-28, and all those games were at home.
-- Jamie Moyer threw his third career 2-hit shutout this week; the first one came in 1986, 24 years ago.
-- Jody Gerut hit for the cycle in Phoenix Saturday night, as Brewers crushed Arizona 17-3.
-- Mark Teixeira is the first Bronx Bomber to hit three homers in a game at Fenway Park since Lou Gehrig.
-- Nice effort by the Hawks in this playoff series with Orlando, losing the first three games, with losses by 43 and 30 points. How about some effort? Losing a home playoff game by 30 points isn't good.

Sunday's List of 13: Overrated/underrated.........
Underrated-- Stanley Cup playoffs, especially the OT games.
Overrated-- NBA playoff series are too long; best 2-of-3 would be great, with the Finals best-of-5.
Underrated-- Baseball spring training, especially for those of us who live in the northeast; spring training starting is always a good thing.
Overrated-- NFL training camps. Most of the heavy work is done now in minicamps. Teams are so leery of injuries that there isn't much hitting in the summer.
Underrated-- Radio talk show hosts who simply talk to their callers and don't belittle them. Semi-intelligent conversation is still fun.
Overrated-- Jim Rome. A schtick that has gotten old.
Underrated-- Laguna Beach, CA-- Great beach to walk on, with cliff that overlooks the Pacific and a great ice cream place across the street.
Overrated-- Niagara Falls-- Its water going over rocks. Not much else. Its a lot of water over high rocks, but still, once you've looked at that for five minutes, what do you do then?
Underrated-- Hitting golf balls at a driving range. You don't have to chase the bad shots; plus, the snack bar is within 100 yards.
Overrated-- Running a marathon. No way thats good for you.
Underrated-- Hiring experienced guys as head coaches who have earned their way up the ladder.
Overrated-- Hiring 20/30-somethings to run franchises. Going to an Ivy League school doesn't mean you're qualified to be a big league GM.
Underrated-- Van Morrison's Greatest Hits CD. Excellent driving music.
