I agree with this 100%.
I stopped betting with my Local about 9 years ago and went online-NEVER a problem.
I sure as heck don't miss the lowlife/scummy gutter slime I had to meet and settle up with every week-I would venture to say that applies to most Locals(it sure applies to the various LOCALS I settled up with over the years).

I had 3 huge weeks in a row one time and the guy said he didn't want my action anymore. Another guy stopped giving me cbb lines because i was doing very well and he said he only had a few people interested in CBB. You can bet your ass if i was losing he wouldn't have stopped giving lines. Fuck locals and i really mean that!!!

Personally i hate locals as well. I went on a huge hot streak and won alot of money and they had to pay me in small amounts like 4-5,000 at a time and when i lost they would want it all that week and there was no exceptions. Its fine for them to take there sweet ass time, but when it comes to them getting paid they were on me like glue. Fuck locals i never had a problem getting money, but it took a while and when it comes to locals you have to find a big enough one that can take 5-10,000 bets that way you know you are able to get a couple thousand no problem if you win, but then theres the hassle with locals too were only open from 5:00 - 7:00 and that bullshit and then you have to wait a week to get paid and then have to meet up in some shady bar or some wierd street corner in east bumfuck. Im from Boston and have met in some pretty shady places. Online is just so much better you can bet 24 hours a day and you can even get your money sent next day if you win and you can get it sent to ur house even you dont even have to go anywhere. Online is the way to go and that way you dont have to worry about winning if you go on a hot streak. Like i said when buzzdaly interview me years ago i said i love caribsports becuase they dont care if i win. Well Goodluck getting that money if you need some muscle to get it i got some guys for ya and i guarentee if you had lost and didnt have it there would be some threaten words. fuck that guy and fuck locals.

Even when I won with these guys, it wasn't as much fun as it should have been, because I felt I was demeaning myself to have to go meet some dirt bag in some parking lot or other secretive/undesirable place to collect my winnings.

I have not read all your replys so I may be repeating myself.

My book did it to me after he cleaned me up pretty good for about a month. Bowls game came around and I KILLED him for it all back. Since I knew him pretty well he slowed payed me and then stop corresponding all together.

To make it short I ( claimed ) some items as payment til he could fork up the rest of my cash or I kept the goods.

I kept the goods as they were more in value.

Shitty situation to go through.
