GREEN BAY (-4.5) 26 Philadelphia 16
06:05 PM Pacific Time Monday, Nov-10
The Eagles have rebounded from their 0-2 start by winning 5 of their last 6 games, but none of those wins have come against a team that currently has a winning record and I doubt that they’ll beat a good Packers team. Green Bay doesn’t have a winning record either, as they are just 4-4, but they are clearly a better than average team and two of their losses (Minnesota on opening day and St. Louis two weeks ago) were the result of turnovers rather than being out-played from the line of scrimmage. The Packers have averaged an impressive 5.9 yards per play this season on offense (against teams that combine to allow a combined 5.3 yppl on defense) while allowing 5.3 yppl on defense (to teams that average a combined 5.3 yppl on offense). The Eagles defense has been pretty good despite their injuries, as they’ve yielded 4.5 yppl to teams that average 4.9 yppl on offense. However, the Packers’ offense is better than the Eagles’ defense and Brett Favre has a history of playing well against good defensive teams. Philadelphia’s offense was able to put up good numbers for once in their 23-16 win over Atlanta, but the Falcons have the NFL’s worst defense and Philadelphia has only averaged 4.5 yppl for the season (against teams that allow 4.9 yppl). Green Bay’s mediocre defense is good enough to limit that sorry offense, so the Packers should win the battle on both sides of the ball in this game. Green Bay applies to a solid 154-88-7 ATS statistical indicator and they’d apply to a very strong 93-38-4 ATS Monday night angle if they were favored by 5 points or less. Philadelphia has been a good underdog in recent years (19-6-2 ATS), but Green Bay has a long history of success at home when not laying more than 11 points (53-27-5 ATS, including 16-7 ATS the last few years). The Eagles are simply an average team and I rate Green Bay as the third best team in the league behind the Chiefs and Colts. They should be good enough to win this game pretty comfortably, but I’ll pass on the Packers as a Best Bet because of the Eagles good record as an underdog.

Monday, November 10th
PHILADELPHIA (5-3 SU/4-4 ATS) at GREEN BAY (4-4 SU/4-4 ATS)
The Eagles got the job done last week in a 23-16 win at Atlanta as -5½ point road chalks. QB Donovan McNabb completed 21-of-33 passes for 312 yards and a touchdown, including six to L.J. Smith, who led the team with 97 receiving yards. RB Correll Buckhalter rushed for 92 yards for the Eagles, who have won three straight and five of their last six games. The Eagles outgained the Falcons in total "O" 430-278 and had a 24-17 edge in first downs. Green Bay looked good last week in a 30-27 win at Minnesota as +4½ point underdogs. QB Brett Favre made his 181st consecutive regular-season start, extending his own NFL record, and finished 18-of-28 for 194 yards and 3 TD's and RB Ahman Green ran for 137 yards for the Packers, who snapped a two-game losing streak. Green recorded his 19th career 100-yard rushing game and the Packers are 18-1 in those games. He also has 5,002 career rushing yards. It was a good effort by the Packers as they outgained the Vikings in total "O" (451-323) and first downs (24-20). The Eagles are an impressive 23-10-2 ATS when installed as an underdog, but the Packers counter with an equally impressive 8-1 ATS in Monday Night games. Also note that the Pack has scored 30 or more points in their last three home games. Your SELECTION for MNF is OVER Rover.

4breakout- Bankers sports
If that is Bobby Banker of Bankers Sports based out of Hawaii I think you may have bad information regarding GB being his GOY.
His comp line has said he only has a 3 1/2 star on the game reduced from a 5 star.
I find it inconceivable that it would suddenly become a GOY for him.
His comp line # is 1-808-948-2265 if anyone would like to verify what I am saying. He does NOT have a comp at all tonight so this is NO shill type post for the guy.
