Tom Watson....are you kidding me??? Those putts he made on 16 and 18 were bombs and he as he stated "put them in the geometrical center of the hole"

Here's a funny Padraig Harrington story. I went to the final round of the 2004 Masters. When we arrived on the course we were making our way to Amen's corner. On the 2nd hole we had to stop and wait. Harrington was in trouble deep in the woods. He had two choices. Punch out laterally to get back on the fairway. His other choice was to advance his ball forward. He had a small opening between trees about 20 feet above the ground.

Harrington is no more than 10 feet from where I'm standing. He's talking to his caddy about playing the shot through the trees. Another nearby fan says aloud to his buddy "there's no way he can make that shot". Harrington hears the fan. Turns to the fan and says "you don't think I can make that shot"? With that he grabs a club And sure as shit it's perfect. Right through the small opening. The fans in the area go crazy. Harrington turns and looks at the fan with a big smile.

After that I became a fan of Padraig Harrington. It's a major and he's interacting with the fans. It was great!

            Just in from USA Today...

Woods won't be around to see how it all turns out. He took two double bogeys on the back side, limped off with a 4-over 74 and missed the cut in a major for only the second time in his professional career.

"It was just problem after problem," said Woods, who came into golf's oldest championship as an overwhelming favorite after winning three times since his return from knee surgery. "I kept compounding my problems out there."

            TOUCHDOWN FAT BOY!

When I hit the ground, I was on the Run!

Usually they are assholes and wound tighter than a golf ball during majors. That is pretty cool. Geez, i like him now too!

              I just wish he hadn't shot a 74 today!

..... and Poulter? We won't even bother talking about him right now. I could not have been more wrong with that one!

Through 18 holes I rooted for Watson. Entering the playoff I changed my allegiance to Cink. He's never won a major. Although, it wouldn't have broke my heart if Watson won. The shame was Watson's 2nd shot on 18 was near perfect.
