3/4 of the way through now. Things are real shaken up. Thoughts?

    Wild Card winners?

    MVPs?

    ROYs?

Call me crazy but if the Rockheads can catch fire out of the gate they may have a say in the end..streaky team. They are 9 games out but in any other NL division they would be right there. The pesky Giants are ahead of them by two games. Remember Colorado started out like a bunch of Rockheads but rebounded nicely. Can it continue?? I just can't go with the Dodgers. I have no faith in them in the playoffs. Rockies are two games out of first for the wildcard.

Well Colorado is shaping up as I thought. They have 4 with the Giants-3 with LA and then 3 more with Frisco the next ten games starting tomorrow. 7 Game homestand! They are playing well and this homestand + 3 in SF should make that race with the dodgers pretty interesting.

Ethier is abt the only one I consider a great day to day player anymore for the dodgers--he has been clutch for them-I like the Phils-St. Louis in the NLCS with the Rockheads with an outside shot. At this point I do not like the dodgers chances.

AL--Angels are rolling 8-2 last 10. Yankees have cooled a smidge. Angels Yanks in the ALCS.

Agree, Bryce. Think the Rockies are as dangerous as anyone if they make the postseason. Also really like the Angels.

Well, i guess you could out hit them right? I would take the offense from Boston, NY or TB over Anaheim too. They also lost K-Rod. Yes, the lefty is doing well right now closing but let's see him in the postseason. I'm sorry, i don't see it with Anaheim AT ALL this year. Too many issues.
Smoltz or Penny..... I'm a little worried about my Sox at this point....Come on Bowden! Welcome back Mr. Remy!!!

I liked that play a lot..I think it was a discussion in Big W's thread. Not sure. They have totally collapsed--it is disgusting!

Rockheads 3.5 out...they can pull within 3 games of La with a win tomorrow night...do I think this will happen...I am sketchy abt it but I think they do...La has Kershaw on the mound Tues night vs..Hammel...Advantage La--but then again playing in Colorado is a big chore--hoping COlorado can take 2 out of three from the Dodgers---and win tomorrow night for a 2 game deficit...We shall see! Dodgers have 2 of there 3 best on the mound vs Colo---no Billingsley in this series...

If I had to pick it right now I would say the Angels vs. Cardinals too. Two teams that are steady and look very impressive.
