Good price on the Phils at +401.

      Yankmees way overpriced like usual.

Like to take a shot at Texas +1300 but, truth be told, don't see anyone competing with Boston.

Angels and Rays are my two to win the AL. And, I hate to say it, but 20:1 is a great price on the Mets.

I like the Phils too. They are in position IMO for a good second half. 9-1 there last 10 games.

Call me crazy but if the Rockheads can catch fire out of the gate they may have a say in the end..streaky team. They are 9 games out but in any other NL division they would be right there. The pesky Giants are ahead of them by two games. Remember Colorado started out like a bunch of Rockheads but rebounded nicely. Can it continue?? I just can't go with the Dodgers. I have no faith in them in the playoffs. Rockies are two games out of first for the wildcard.

LA/Stl in the NL and Boston/NY/TB in the AL

Those are my choices in order, in each league.

Why the Angels? They have less pitching than they did last year and they have proven several times that they can not beat Boston in the postseason, plus, they may struggle to win their own division. I think it is pretty clear that the wildcard will come from the East so two of those teams will be in.

I like St Louis especially if they get Halladay. WhiteSox needed to make a trade, but they almost had Peavy, so they may try, nice value

Good point Wayne BUT--I just like this team as a sleeper---7-3 into the All star break and sweeping the yanks..don't think the yanks will forget that if they meet again. And you know as well as I do anything can happen in October.

Mavs sorry to chime in but I liked your picks...you posted them before me---

They are the Best in the AL with 54 Wins and nobody else even has 50. They have the best bullpen in the AL by far, the 2nd best team ERA and they are 3rd in runs scored. I think those are pretty good ingredients for winning baseball and i could see that from here or any other place. Nothing to do with being a fan.

I know buddy!! Can I just give you shit once or twice a year??
Boston obviously is the fave for those reasons. Tough to say right now what is going to happen--if they stay healthy they SHOULD and that is a big word in sports win the pennant.

The only problem with that bryce is this, in the postseason, you need to match the 3 starters you are facing and i don't see the Angels pitching coming close to Boston (Beckett,Lester,Smoltz or Penny) NYY (Sabathia,Burnett,Pettitte) or TB (Shields,Garza,Kazmir or Price). Well, i guess you could out hit them right? I would take the offense from Boston, NY or TB over Anaheim too. They also lost K-Rod. Yes, the lefty is doing well right now closing but let's see him in the postseason. I'm sorry, i don't see it with Anaheim AT ALL this year. Too many issues.

They can also handle an injury better than any other team out there. Their bench and farm system both have good players begging for time.
