why dont all NFL teams sue players when they get suspended? Just curious. I would think since NFL contracts arent guaranteed all they could sue for is bonus money and guaranteed money, because them being suspended they dont get paid anyway right?

Does the name Dany Heatley ring a bell?
                    Manslaughter
                    No jail time?
                    Suspension?

I honestly don't know how I would feel about Dante playing football again if it were a loved that he ran over. I hope I never have to know that feeling.

Anything more than a 4 game suspension is bull.

I am not taking up for Stallworth but I have problems with people who thinks this guy just got off with a slap on his wrist.

#1. the person that he hit was also at fault. He ran out in the middle of the street!!!!!!!!!!! He also J-Walked.... He was trying to catch a bus.... He could of been hit even if Stallworth wasn't drinking.

#2 This guy cannot drive for the REST OF HIS LIFE!!!!! I wonder how many people are on this site that had prior DUI'S AND ARE STILL DRIVING

#3 This guy will be under house arrest for 2 years and probation for ten

#4 He has not had any priors Stallworth has been an asset to the community

#5 This guys death will be on Stallworths conscience for the rest of his life... And there is no amount of money and time that is going to ease that feeling. I pray for the victim, his family, Stallworth, and his family. If I was in any of the parties situation I would not know what I would do.....

You said a lot of things I wanted to say, but didn't, because I didn't want to get get flamed by those that think Dante is 100% guilty. Has anyone ever had a person dart in front of them in the middle of no where and wonder, wow, I could have killed that person?

Personally, I think the idiot didn't even look and ran right in front of the Stallworth and they were more than happy to get a few million!

Is anyone old enough on this board to remember when the legal DUI number was .10 in just about every state in the USA and they drove when perhaps, just perphaps, they had one more beer than they were supposed to?

Get off the high horse and give it a rest... 4 games MAX! Let him play football
