Guys, I hate road course races. Easily my 2 most hated races every year. I think they are the 2 most boring races of the year too. Just hate 'em ......


And in the pools, i'll see about 3-4 names in survivor this week and that's it. Everyone uses the same guys every year.

Just looked up some in-depth Mears career stats. I'm no NASCAR expert, but they don't look too good. 231 races, 1 win, and only 12 top 5s. OUCH!

David Gilliland will be a nice sleeper!!!

Ryan Newman will be a better one in 2 weeks. He has 4 Top 10's in the last 8 at Loudon (Including a win). He has finished Top 15 in 6 of 8 and a Chevy has won 5 of the last 8 there.

My last 20 years of Nascar=Hated road courses
Now with double file restarts=I think it will be awsome

Just think Wayne.The car thats inside in turn 1 will be on the outside going into turn 2.That means alot of bumping.There were 31 cars that finished on the lead lap.That will mean alot of side by side racing all day long.What has sucked in the past is that people always chance gas milage and it has took away from the excitement.I think it will be a mini Daytona/Bristol come Sunday.

It will be better but it is still a road course. I like the speed of tracks. These courses do nothing for me.

California and Atlanta are just as boring IMO.I have seen Atlanta by lap 5 all be single file.I think this new rule is going to help bring some more excitement to alot of tracks.Like I said this is just my opinion on how this weekend will play out.The drivers could all be respectfull and give alot of room.I just think it will be the best road course race we have seen.Will that be better than Bristol,Tally or Daytona.HELL NO.But it should be better than past road courses

I know Mark Martin is not on the list but he is hot and look for a good race from
him.

My long shot would be the 07 car.
