screw Glavine. I'm so sick of this talk of what he did for the Braves and what the Braves owe him. Did he do a lot for the Braves, absolutely. Did the Braves do a lot for Glavine, absolutely. I'd say the Braves did as much or more for Glavine than Glavine did for the Braves. The probably paid him over $100 million dollars over his career. It was a business when Glavine let the Braves for the Mets, it's a business when they left him go this past week. Boo fucking hoo is what I'd have to say to Glavine. He didn't get any more or less respect than any of us would when a company lays people off.

No, I'm a big Chipper and Smoltz guy. I thought Smoltz got much more a raw deal than Glavine b/c Smoltz took less money over the years to stay, as did Chipper. I was never a big Glavine guy, but when he left for the Mets that sealed the deal for me.

            Your soooooooooooooooooooooo cool.

Chipper is soft in his old age, but Reyes is still a little crybaby.

Outta' here boys. The real talk for the Braves should be about another pitcher named Tommy anyway.......

Gotta' love Chipper, and you can be assured he will never ever wear another major league uniform. He's a Brave through and through.

we screwed smoltz over...hated that...had to sit and watch glavine play the majority of his career in atlanta, just to win his 300th game as a met...fuck glavine, he fucked us, we fucked him, it's business...he's over the hill anyways...we did manage to find the only asian pitcher who isn't any good, and we're paying him over 8 mil...braves are messed up right now...love the team, always will, but they are messed up right now...

as for now, braves outfield sucks...they are staying with francouer for way too long...i'd rather have spark's bat instead of francouer's...spark can lay off the low and away breaking stuff...

and yes, chipper is soft...he's a hell of a competitor (when he's in there), and i'm glad he's playing for my team, but he can have a hangnail and he'll be out for 3 games...it can be frustrating for a team that is severely lacking offense...

what happened in 03 is that Glavine was president of the players union in 03 and no way could he turn down a contract from another team that was for more $$$$$$$$$.I think the mets made that offer just to see if they could make the president of the players union look stupid by taking a hometown discount and not standing up for what he was fighting for with other players.
