WOW, very nice info. This may be a nice play, this says a lot about the halftime adjustments arizona makes. I may just watch a half of this game and make a play at half using this info as a possible angle.

Two things PW52
One is Philly has to be aware of this angle and if they get the ball first and eat clock -then Mr. Warner will not get on the field enough to win this bet. The play can only be made prior to the game starting. I do not know the odds either. Lets hope Zona wins the toss and defers for extra security. I am checking Phillys 2nd half stats now.

Another reason the 3rd Qtr play is not rated as high is what happened in the last game Arizona played against Philly. The notes of that game:

Four days after hosting the Super Bowl champion Giants, the Cards took on the Eagles in
Philadelphia in a Thanksgiving night showdown. The host Eagles scored 21 straight to start the
game, thanks in part to a pair of Kurt Warner INTs and prevailed with a 48-20 win. The Cardinals
lost an opportunity to clinch the division crown and fell to 7-5 but remained firmly in first place in
the NFC West. The Eagles moved to 6-5-1 and kept their playoff hopes alive.
Philly took the opening kickoff and moved 70 yards in 12 plays as Brian Westbrook scored the
first of his 4 TDs (2 rushing/2 receiving) on a 5-yard pass from Donovan McNabb. On the 5th play
of the next drive Joselio Hanson INT’d a tipped Warner pass and returned it to the AZ41. Five
straight Westbrook runs got it into the end zone, including the final one from a yard out. The next
AZ drive ended when Quintin Mikell picked off Warner. While the ensuing possession didn’t
produce any points, the Eagles went up 21-0 midway thru the 2nd quarter on a 2-yard McNabb-
Westbrook pass. The Cards scored late in the half on a 1-yard Warner TD pass to Larry Fitzgerald
but David Akers’ FG in the closing seconds made it 24-7 at intermission.
Westbrook opened the 2nd half scoring with a 9-yard TD run. A muffed Eagles punt led to an
AZ TD – a 6-yard pass from Warner to Steve Breaston - that made it 34-13 but the Eagles again
answered with an Akers FG. Early in the 4th, the Cards cut it to 14 with a 7-yard Warner-Fitzgerald
connection and got the ball right back with 12:46 to play after a Philly 3-n-out. However, the
comeback hopes were dealt a severe blow when Anquan Boldin fumbled after a reception and the
Eagles took over at the AZ19. Five plays later, McNabb hit DeSean Jackson with a 5-yard scoring
pass that made it 41-20 and an 8-yard McNabb TD pass to Jason Avant 5 minutes later provided
the game’s final points.

Yeah, well it gets to be another intangible to the game at hand. It is merely a perception that McNabb wants this more than the Arizona Cards do. Just leave it as at that.

My thoughts are:

Look, Philly has done what I think is on par with Coughman and Eli Manning last year. First be put down by the media as on the hot seat and then come back because no one thought you could. Arizona falls into the same scenario in many ways as well.

Let's see, 3 of the 4 remaining teams ranked 1st, 2nd and 3rd in defense this year, while the 4th team was 18th - guess who that is?
Cardinal fans, you need to tone it down a notch - your high-powered offense has so far beat the 17th best defense and the 24th best defense in the league, and you needed turnovers to beat Atlanta. Your defense may have played better, but remember they are capable of allowing 40+ points in a game as well.

The key to covering receivers like Fitzgerald is to take them off their routes and to put pressure on Warner, who is as mobile as a statue. The Eagles excel in both areas. The only way the Cardinals win is if McNabb hands it to them, and I don't see that happening.

If you don't see any way the Eagles lose to a team @ home who just hammered the Panthers, then you really haven't been watching much FB. Both teams are probably playing their best FB of the season right now so this game can go either way IMO. Don't forget who the Cards have at QB.

Its not being a homer. Everyone talks about Zona's offense. They only scored 11 more points than the Eagles. So the Eagles have the way better Defense and just as good of an offense. Remember the cards scored most of there points in that pathetic NFC West. Kurt Warner does not scare me. I can less about the stats that were posted about his numbers against the blitz. Nobody runs blitzes like the eagles.

Mark Jimmy merely was bringing attention to the fact that when anyone says some team can't lose, it has come to bite them in the ass, more times than not. Zona has Warner and many playmakers and a reved up defense to play anyone at this level of the playoffs. As mentioned, Fitz is much taller and a good jumper and will be a tough assignment for 2-3-4 defenders.
Being underdogs has only enraged them and they have proven that they are a resilient team. Plus, -4 is not a great number in favor of the backing the Eagles. Both teams will not quit so anything can happen.

A homer, in this case, may also mean that you are already behind this team and the open mindedness isn't there and may cloud the overall picture.

I like the play on the Eagles very much and will play the 3rd Qtr on Zona +1/2.
